Keep Smiling... The... Always Shines
Had a rough week at work this week. I made this for a friend and coworker who also had a rough one (probably because of me...lol). The "saying" is kind of an inside joke between us so I thought she could use a shadow box on her desk to make her smile when things are not going quite right. I totally borrowed the idea from fellow paper crafter's blog and if you'd like to check it out she makes some gorgeous things. You can find her here http://rockymtnpapercrafts.blogspot.com/. I used mainly cardstock and ink. The sun was embossed with my cuttlebug and the rays are from CTMH's Patterned Pennants stamp set. I used the color ready seam binding ribbon. I kept trying different ribbons in my stash and none seemed right... either too dainty or too heavy and then I saw this sitting there and remembered how versatile it is. The best part was I got to make it while I Skype scrapped with my friend Donna back in NY and in just a few minutes I'm gonna Skype scrap again-my afternoon plans changed and I am finding myself with some time and what better way to fill it? Remember to keep smiling!

This is really pretty. I can see it much better on your blog than I could during our Skype Session. I am sure your co-worker will love it!
