Pretty in Pink

Did I get a little carried away?  Lately I've been loving gold with pink and teal/turquoise.  You might be seeing a bit more of this combo from me for a while until I get it out of my system.  This is one of the swing cards from Artiste and  had a lot of fun trying to get this one out of my head and onto paper.

When I was going through my stash I tried to find just the right flowers and then the thought of using the floral from brushed and then dipping the edges in gold embossing powder and embossing them came to mind.  So easy and fun!  I got the idea from seeing gold "dipped" feathers on Pinterest and I've been wanting to use that one a card.  That pink bow was from leftover seam binding ribbon that I used on my typewriter card.  It was a little bit of work to get a bow out of the small piece I had, but I did it and didn't have to throw it away!

The sentiment area on the inside has a glitter gold frame around it.  No worries... the heart I used was from I think Art Philosophy and it cut both the frame and the center out so I still have a pretty gold heart to use on another project.

So... sorry if you think it looks like pink and gold threw up on my card or it's a little much... I personally think it's just enough :)!

Thanks for stopping by!
