Welcome back to Day 2 of Paper Sweeties July Blast From The Past! Today I decided to share with you a project I made last year:
So I got a gift from a girl at work and it was enclosed in this great tin with a window so I thought it would be cute with Emma peeking out of it... and I think it turned out pretty cute!
I added a little texture paste using stencils inside and out and covered it in layers of acrylic paint in teal and gold. Then I embossed a whole bunch of these beautiful flowers from the Pretty Posies set and the Party Time Set in gold on some watercolored papers and cut them out.. wet them, scrunched them and placed them at various levels. I also added a few of the beautiful crocheted doilies I received from a friend... I'm kind of stingy with them and only use them on special projects.
I added some banners using the Birthday Banners stamps and dies and Emma's outfit is from the Sweetie Pie stamp set and I picked it because it reminded me of one of my favorite outfits:
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back tomorrow for Day 3 of Blast From The Past! And don't forget to check out all of the Design Team projects for today:
