Taking a (short) break from Valentines to work on this Get Well card... love these adorable bunny digis from Craftin Desert Divas! I used the Get Well Bunny Digi.. no brainer for a get well card, right? But then he looked so lonely sitting there in the grass all by himself and I had printed up a bunch of different digis in different sizes that I thought I might use on this or that and when I saw that cute little Bunny Heart Balloon sitting there I had made her the perfect size to accompany this cute fella... so I cut her and the basket out without the heart balloon... I think if I weren't feeling well, and someone brought me a basket with a bunny in it... I just might start to feel a little bit better!
I just love using these Wishful Thought Word Dies to add a sentiment... I didn't leave much room for this one...lol... but I like the dies because you can layer them on top of or below some of the other elements to help build your sentiment...and along with one of the other cute sentiment stamp sets like the Simply Said set it's easy to add... I love the sentiment Big Hugs because it goes with almost any kind of card and it's easy to find a spot for it... and of course I added my favorite shimmer sequins....
I just love these two together... that grass is from the Landscape 2 Dies and the background grassy hills I made using the Stitched Scallop dies... To get them to fit on that cloudy sky paper, I first cut my cloud paper using the largest Stitched Frame die and then I cut a piece of green using the same die... then I put it through again with the grass and scallops so that the edges would fit nicely on my background piece.. easy peasy!
And these balloons from the Party dies along with their pretty strings and bows... love them! I love to wrap that loopy string around one of my elements and I love to cut them out of vellum...
I'm playing along with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 393... these beautiful springy colors and those pretty heart picks (that kinda look like little heart balloons) inspired me... it's a fun challenge and you should check it out!
And this little fella... I guess I think he's a fella 'cause he has no bow...lol! Which reminds me of when I was pregnant with my youngest and I took my oldest with me to an ultrasound. The tech told us she couldn't tell whether it was a boy or a girl... and when we got in the car my little one said to me... "Mommy... how come she couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl? Was it because it went like this?!" and proceeded to place his hands over his face... because that's how you tell a boy from a girl, right? By looking at their face? especially if they are wearing a bow or a baseball cap ..lol... that was the short version...lol... but it was so cute and funny!
Here is the Cupcake Inspirations photo for this challenge.. so pretty!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by today! Love to get visitors! Let me know you were here and I'll visit you back!
