Welcome to the May Anything Goes Challenge over at Paper Sweeties! It's another beauty of an Inspiration Photo and here is how it inspired me:
When I started out, I thought I'd make all of my Pretty Posies in pink and beige like in the photo, but I decided to add a pop of yellow. The foggy window in the background inspired me ... for me it translated to that green background paper with the vellum scalloped square over it...
At first I thought it was a jar full of pennies... the coppery color inspired me to emboss my sentiment from the Love You To Pieces set and the Basket stamp in copper... I masked the sentiment so I could put part of it on my banner from the Hello Friend stamp set and Be Happy Sweet Cuts.
I chose to add the dragonfly from the Bee Happy stamp set and the cute little lady bug as well...
Isn't she a sweetie? And I loved the opportunity to use my Latte Sequins... a special limited edition sequin mix inspired by the Coffee Lovers Hop... the colors were perfect for this card!
So thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit with all of my teamies to see how this gorgeous photo inspired them!

DeleteI am truly fascinated at how you can look at a photo and come up with something so rich with layers of images, colors, and embellishments. I love the idea behind the vellum, and I think those little coffee colored sequins are fun! Great card!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is the sweetest! Love how you colored and put the flowers together with the ladybug and dragonfiy. The basket color is lovely (I thought it was pennies in the jar, too). Love it!
