Coffee Lover's Blog Hop-Day 8-Time To Say Goodnight

Ok!  So with this one, I must say goodnight!  There's another Coffee Hop in the books... you still have a little longer, but I need to go sit with my dog and veg.  I've had this one in my head for quite some time:

We used to live on 7 acres in Western New York.  Lots of squirrels and chipmunks.. and they would make a nest in any cozy tucked away receptacle they could find... and then there was this adorable little chippy on the Summer Blessings stamp set from Little Acres Creations.

As soon as I saw this sweet little snoozing chipmunk I knew I had to have him!  And when I was digging through my stamp sets I came across him and this idea popped in my head.  Snoozing in an abandoned coffee cup with dry leftovers from Fall as his mattress... sleeping soundly while the snow falls around him.

That "burlap" doily... cut from some packaging using that Gina Marie Doily die set.  That beautiful cup... my favorite one from Paper Sweeties.  It was the perfect size for this little guy!  The leaves... a little CDD and some Tim Holtz.

And yeah... I added some flowers from Prima and pretty sequins from Paper Sweeties..lol!  And another cute sentiment from the Coffee Tags set from Hero Arts.

I'm entering this one into the Play Creative December Challenge to use flowers on a Christmas/Holiday card.

Quick one!  Have to go do some cozying up myself!  Don't be a stranger!  And if you've linked up to the hop and you haven't heard from me yet... I'm still making my way around so I'll see you soon!

  7. Very sweet. I used to leave the squirrels some nuts up on the garage roof whenever it snowed back in NJ. Love all those sweet little furry creatures. We do have scorpions and terantulas her though; not quite as cute LOL.
