Can you believe it's almost Christmas! I hope you have been enjoying all of the awesomeness at Paper Sweeties this month! 25 days of Inspiration and a whole bunch of sales! Check out the Paper Sweeties Blog here to find out what today's special is! Here's what I've made for today!
I had stamped a bunch of these adorable stockings from the Dear Santa stamp set and was coloring them in and realized what my eyes were seeing as a carrot was a piece of candy... which makes total sense because WHY would there be a carrot in a Christmas stocking?? Why, indeed!
Maybe because the recipient of the stocking was this adorable bunny from the Hoppy Easter set! Once I thought of this, I couldn't change the course of this card...lol! I knew I had to add the bunny and make the candy a carrot and the rest is history. I stamped the hat from the Snow Friends stamp set and cut two slits in the top that my bunny's ears could slide through... yeah... I cut the ears off... don't think I don't feel bad about it..
The Scalloped Circle Frame was perfect as a backdrop. And I cut out a banner using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts and stamped the sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set.
Of course I scattered around a few pretty Paper Sweeties sequins. And to make my bunny fur I colored her with my copics and then used some terry cloth with blending solution and held it over the colored areas for the count of three to add texture.
