Coffee Loving Cardmakers - Our Daily Bread Designs Collaboration!

Woo hoo!  Today the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are hopping along with Our Daily Bread Designs team to show off some of their large collection of awesome Coffee/Tea/Cocoa themed products... and maybe a few more things...lol!

Leave a little love at each stop along the way and you could win a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD shop!  You should have come here from Helen's PlaceIf you get lost along the way just head on over to Our Daily Bread Designs blog here or the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog post here and you'll find the complete hop list!  And at the bottom of this post you'll find some info regarding a cool offer for everyone!

Here's what I have for you!

So much goodness here!  I started with this awesome Latte Love paper from Our Daily Bread Designs... lots of fun patterns and pretty colors!  The background and the cup were cut using papers from this pad.  Speaking of the cup and plate... those were cut using the awesome Cups and Mugs die set.  Love the embossed detail in the cuts from these dies!  And those beautiful ovals... the Layered Lacey Oval dies are SO beautiful!  I added these to my collection a while ago and just LOVE them!  And I finished it off with that pretty Bitty Butterfly cut from gold vellum along with a few little hearts for steam and an awesome sentiment from the I Love Coffee stamp set.

I used the fantastic Latte Love papers again for this one.  I decided it would be a shaker.  I cut the cup in my top layer using the cup die from the Beverage Cup die set and stamped in Versamark and heat embossed another sentiment from the I Love Coffee stamp set.  I used the Beverage Cup dies to cut the heart, lid and whipped cream pieces .  I added acetate to the inside of the die cut cup and then I popped up my window layer with some foam tape (careful to place the tape all around the cup to keep my fillings where I wanted them) and before I adhered it I threw down some coffee colored dew drops and coordinating sequins.

I found this pretty background in my stash.  My friend Jean Chaney (thanks Jean!) taught us at one our monthly crops how to use some fun foam to create stamps using various dimensional items... for this one, I used a doily die and pressed it into a circle piece of fun foam after heating it up.  The impression stuck and I then stamped them randomly on my paper.  Once that was done, I used some Distress Oxides and blending in some more purple and orange.  You can reheat your foam to flatten it again, but I liked my new "stamp" so much I kept it.

I stuck with the orange and purple theme with all of my pieces.  I built the cup using the Beverage Cup die set using some pretty plaid paper in the perfect colors!  I added a vellum oval underneath and added my layers from there.  I added some Nuvo drops, another pretty Bitty Butterfly, some paper flowers from my stash, hand cut a few banners and used one to stamp the sentiment from the I Love Coffee set!  Yup yup... mmmm.  These colors make me happy!

For my last one for this hop, I lightened things up a bit.  I kept my background subtle and cut that beautiful mug from the Cups and Mugs die set from Copic friendly paper and colored it in with my Copics (R81, R83, and R85 I do believe... one of my favorite color combos from Copic Class with Jennifer Dove).  Using various patterned papers, I cut some of the pretty flowers from the Pretty Posies dies (so pretty and might be gone soon if you love them..last I checked they were on sale.. I know I love them!)  One of those pretty Lacey Ovals keeps it all together.

To finish it off, I cut a fishtail banner from black cardstock and embossed that cute sentiment from the I Love Coffee stamp set.  I cut one of the Pretty Posies in half and tucked part under my oval at the bottom right and used the other half by my sentiment.

That's what I have for you today!  I sure hope you enjoyed your visit here and that I've inspired you just a little!

Now you should head on over to my friend Robyn's Place!  Don't forget to hop all the way through and leave comments for your chance to win!

AND!!  As if that wasn't awesome enough... there's this:

Super cool and generous, right???  What are you waiting for?  Get hopping!  And thanks for stopping!

  20. Hi Lisa:
Well, I still stand by my theory that you are thee most creative gal in the crafting world. Nobody I know, or have ever met or come across, makes nearly as many cards as you do in any given week....and not just "cards" whipped together....they're all amazing. Don't know where you get the time or the energy, but keep it coming, girl! This is (almost) enough caffeine to keep me going for a while longer. LOVE ODB and this is such a fabulous hop.
    Blessings,
    Karen Letchworth
