Let Your Light Shine - The Rabbit Hole Designs

I was so happy to find some time to ink up the So-Fishticated stamp set from The Rabbit Hole designs as well as play with a few other new things I've recently found in my mailbox!  It all started when Amy told me I needed the Cloud Stencil from MFT when she created this gorgeous card here!  So of course I believed her and purchased it over at Butterfly Reflections Ink! (along with the larger Cloud Stencil, the Grass and the Waves).  I used it to create my pretty cloud background along with some Tumbled Glass distress Ink on a panel cut using the Double Stitched Rectangle dies from Kat Scrappiness.

Then I blended various blue and green Distress Oxides onto another white panel cut with the same die.  Then I splattered some water and some blues and greens from the Paul Rubens Glitter Watercolor paints that Gracie Chavez told me I needed to buy... she was right also.  And she may not have told me directly... but I know she was talking to me.

Once the water panel was dry, I used a wave die from CDD and cut my layers of waves from it.  I love to do this so that I have a consistent stitched frame around my piece.  I attached them using varying thicknesses of foam tape and then splattered a bit more of the watercolor so that it would splash up into the sky a bit.

Next I stamped some of the gorgeous images from the So-Fishticated stamp set, colored them with Copics and cut them out.  I might add that this stamp set is huge!!  So many images and they are a good size.. just the right size for some beautiful coloring!  Sometimes images can be so small it makes it hard to stay in the lines and some are so big that they can be intimidating.  These are just right and the beautiful Zentangley designs in them... absolutely LOVE!

And it was so worth the few extra minutes to cut these beautiful tendrils of the jelly fish!  Love their dainty curls!  I added a little bit of glitz using some Stickles in purple here and there and love the bejeweled look it gives to my sea creatures.

And in fine Rabbit Hole style... these sweet sentiments.. perfect!  A few sequins thrown around were the perfect finishing touch.

I'm playing along over at Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes for a couple more days!  I'm also playing along over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday where it's Always Anything Goes with an Optional Twist-this week's twist is Die Cuts!

Thanks for stopping and hope you enjoyed your stop!  Be sure to stop back again on Wednesday when I'll be doing a little Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!
