I am very honored and excited to be Guesting over at Rubbernecker Stamps for a couple months! I love Rubbernecker's fantastic variety of stamp images, red rubber and clear, and dies and am so happy they are allowing me to represent them in May, June and July and share my creations using some of their awesome products!
Rubbernecker Stamps is a returning Super Sponsor for the Spring/Summer 2019 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop... another one of my loves! So I'm super excited to share with you today a project I made using some of my fave Rubbernecker stamps and dies! This Coffee Lover's Hop runs from May 3rd through the 10th. Link up a project with the theme of Coffee, Tea or Cocoa and Spring/Summer for a chance to win one of many prizes offered up by oh so generous sponsors like Rubbernecker Stamps! Rubbernecker has offered up a $10 and a $25 gift certificate as prizes for the hop! See the main Coffee Lover's Blog Hop post here for all of the info and rules!
Without further ado, here is how I was inspired:
For this one I started by cutting a panel from watercolor paper using the largest of the 5013D Nested Rectangle Sm Stitch Die. I used 1222 Coffee Background to stamp the background in Versamark and heat embossed with Wow Ultra High Gold Embossing Powder. After the heat embossed background cooled, I blended some purple and pink Distress Oxides over the top and then splattered some water and Metallic Watercolors over the top.
I cut one of the beautiful scalloped circles from 5119D Nested Cir Scallop W/Holes Dies from some Kraft paper for a doily feel. Then I cut the Coffee Cup from watercolor paper and first stamped the outline for the 921 Blooming Poppies in Ranger Archival Ink over the cup and then inked up the stamp for the inside part of the poppies with some pinks and purples using a piece of foam and stamped it over the outline. I added a little bit of Metallic Watercolor for a bit of shimmer. Love this gorgeous layered stamp and it was quite easy to "line it up" even though it is a red rubber stamp. Love the watercolored look it gives!
I cut the butterfly using 5102D Butterfly #3 Die from some brushed gold foil cardstock as well as the lid for the cup. Isn't that background stamp cool and beautiful?! Love the vintage feel!
I added the sentiment from 3108 Coffee Blanket Set and a few sequins and I was done!
It's Anything Goes over at Die Cuttin' Divas so of course I'm playing along with this one! Lots of die cuts and lots of Anything and Everything!
I hope I've inspired you today and hope you'll play along with the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! I'll be hopping and commenting and hoping to visit every post this time around... we'll see how it goes! Thanks for stopping!
