Sending You A Smile-Rubbernecker Stamps

So happy you stopped today!  I'm sharing a card made with lots of fun Rubbernecker Stamps products.

I started this one by die cutting the largest of the Deckle Rectangle dies from white cardstock.  Next I stamped the Grunge Frame in Cocoa onto the panel using my Misti.  When inking up the frame, I avoided the leaves in the bottom left corner of the card.  After stamping the brown color, I inked up the leaves and a few other spaces in green and stamped over it again for a two tone look.  Next, I took one of the smaller rectangles and cut the center from the frame.  I did this so I could pop up the outer piece and create some dimension by placing the middle piece back into the center.

I love that it gave it a little bit of dimension while still allowing me to have a "white" card front.  Of course, I had to add some shimmery watercolor splatters in pink and brown!

I stamped the Butterfly #7 outline in Ranger Archival Ink onto watercolor paper.  Then using my Misti, I lined up the solid stamp from this two stamp set and using a piece of foam, I added ink to the stamp placing each color where I wanted it, gave it a spray of water and then stamped it over the black outline.   I did each color separately to be sure to have some contrast and that the colors didn't all just run together.  And lastly I added a little bit of deeper color in some places using my Zig Clean Color Markers and a little water.  When it was dry and added to the card, I applied some Liquid Glass to the butterfly's body for dimension.

I built my sentiment using part of a sentiment from the Fox stamp set along with this beautiful Smile die.  I fussy cut the stamped sentiment and cut the Smile four times and stacked them to be sturdy enough to be suspended across the framed area.  I used Nuvo drops for my dot.  To finish I added sequins in green, pink/purple, and orange.

I hope you enjoyed your stop and that you'll come back again soon!
