I was lucky to have a chance to play with the Coffee Heartbeat Die! Love this cool due and here's how I was inspired:
I started off by using some Alcohol Inks on Yupo paper and cut the die from it. I wanted a simple, but interesting background, so I used the Quilted Background Die and cut it from a neutral design paper. I glued it all together over a cream colored background. I cut and embossed a strip of cream for a backdrop for the Coffee Heartbeat and layered it all together. Finally a sentiment from the I Love Coffee stamp set heat embossed on a die cut from the same design paper as the background and a heart cut from the alcohol ink panel using a heart from Cups and Mugs dies.
I ended up with some leftovers from this one so I decided to do this:
I cut a simple panel from the same paper as I used in my first card and used the alcohol ink "leftovers" but popping them up over a gold strip. A little glitter tape, another sentiment from I Love Coffee, and a few sequins and it was done!
I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which is Monochrome!
I knew I wanted to use the cool Latte Love Paper Pad and this is how I decided to use it:
I decided to use the Quilted Background again in cream. I cut the Coffee Heartbeat from the coffee bean paper three times and adhered it to the background staggering them for a feeling of movement. That awesome cup and heart are from the Cups & Mugs dies and the whipped topping is from the Beverage Cup Dies and I used the beautiful Fancy Circles Dies to frame it.
That's me for today! Hope you enjoyed it! Now you should head on over to the talented Kerry's blog and see what she's created for you today! And don't forget... hop and comment along the way for your chances to win a $25 gift certificate to the Divinity Designs LLC shop!
