Here's how I was inspired:
I've had this idea rolling around in my head for some time now...inspired by that awesome Out of Jail sentiment...lol! I'm not sure if that's enough coffee though to keep me out of jail some mornings...lol!
I started by cutting a piece of 6x6 cardstock and placing it in the corner of my Misti. I positioned the Coffee Bean Background stamp in the center and then stamped it with some Wow Embossing Ink and heat embossed it with some Taffeta embossing powder. Then I used the largest Rectangle Small Stitch Die to cut out the embossed panel. Now... I know I've filled the card up so much that you can just barely see the background popping out, but I'm ok with that! I added the embossed panel to a white 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" panel and then grabbed one of my extra frames leftover from another project and popped it up over the top.
Next I cut 5 cup pieces/parts using the Coffee Cup Die and some coordinating design papers and cardstock. I assembled them and then played a bit with their placement and moved them around until I had the look I wanted.
I stamped the Out of Jail sentiment onto some white cardstock using my Misti and popped it up in the corner of the card. Then I took a sheet of woodgrain vellum and smooshed some Versamark onto it and sprinkled some more of the taffeta powder onto it and heated it up. Once it was dry, I used the Small Butterfly die to cut out those sweet sparkly butterflies and then placed them so it looked like they were fluttering out of the cup.
I used a circle punch to cut out circles for the fronts of the two cups on top and added just one butterfly onto one cup... I imagined there was one on the other, but it took flight with the rest of its friends... 'cause that's how my brain works!
That's me for today! Be sure to check out what my teamies have created for you today! And give Rubbernecker Stamps a visit and thank them for being a sponsor! And I hope you link up a project (or two or three) for chances to win some great prizes... I can't wait to see what you create!
