CDD Linky Party-Coffee-Week 2

Welcome to this week's Crafting Desert Divas Linky Party! The theme for this Linky Party at Craftin Desert Divas is “Coffee”!  Please play along and create something that fits this week's theme and link up at the Craftin' Desert Diva’s Blog.

Every other Monday is the beginning of a new semi-weekly Linky Party over at the CDD blog. We hope you will share your projects with us! And there are prizes! Every Linky Party will have a winner and a Top 3!  The more times you link up…the more chances you have to win!
Here is my project for this week's party (links to the CDD products I've used are at the bottom of the post):

So... before you say... "Lisa, you got a little carried away with the owls"... you should know this card was made for a purpose.  And originally I made it with just one owl, but ... I mean ... it says "Owl of Us"  ... and "Owl of Us" is me and the 7 girls that work in my department.... so... it had to be 8.

Let me say... this Good Morning Cup Digi from the shop is awesome... you really could use it along with almost anything and print it any size you want... and the owl from the Build A Scene set... LOVE!... such a cutie!

I used the Flag Banner Dies for my sentiments and mixed a sentiment from the Got Coffee Stamp Set along with a sentiment from the adorable Christmas owl set, Owl-idays.

So my background was stamped with a cup and the donut from the Got Coffee Stamp set... first the donut in a triangular pattern and then filled in with some cups and then I used some of the cute sentiments from the Tiny Sentiments set.

This card is for one of the Directors at work that arranged for the girls in my department to have a really nice lunch at a really nice restaurant as a thank you for all we do and lunch was on him so we felt he was pretty awesome for doing that and wanted to thank him.  I'll be making a little K-cup holder and give him some Tim Horton's K-Cups with the card.  You can't get it here in Arizona, but I always bring it back with me when I visit Buffalo and we've gotten him hooked.  When he knows I've been gone and I'm back he comes over to get some Tim Hortons coffee.  Imagine how disappointed he was when he came over after my last vacation and found out I had not gone to Buffalo, but to Florida so there was no Tim Hortons...lol!

Although Tara's sequin mixes are awesome... I mixed a few of the mixes here to match the many colors in my card.. I am just loving those new packs of star sequins available in the shop... they make a nice add to any of the mixes.

These are the CDD Products I used:
