Jessica Lynn Original Christmas in July!

So here's my exciting news!  As of this month, I am on the Fall Design Team for JessicaLynnOriginal!  I "met" Jessica when I started doing the Coffee Lovers BlogHop and she has been a Super Sponsor for it and offers an adorable digi of her famous Brentwood Owl for the hop.  Um... #Brentwoodforpresident !  She's awesome, and here I am!  So excited!

This month Jessica is releasing some great new Digital Stamps and we are celebrating Christmas in July!  She is offering more than ten digital rubber stamps.  For a limited time, you can get all of the new designs for a discounted price of $30.  That's more than 2 of the new digital images free!

The Design Team members will be launching new samples anytime between July 1st at 8am and July 4th at 11:49pm (central time).  Be sure to follow along and see if you can spot the new samples!  You can find the full list of Design Team member blogs at https://jessicalynnoriginal.net/design-team/

Follow us on Facebook!  We will be giving away 2 $15 gift certificates this weekend!  Make sure you follow us on Facebook and then tag a friend.  A winner will be pulled and BOTH of you will get a $15 gift certificate.  (The winner will be announced July 5th at 8am).

Stop back here over the next three days and see what we've cooked up for you!  Here is what I created for you today:

So I loved this little guy (Born Free Zebra) right away when I saw him... and when I got in his head, I realized that when it comes to Christmas time all he's ever wanted was to head up Santa's sleigh!  So yeah... at the present time, Santa does not hire Zebras to fly the sleigh, but you just never know!  If you're going to dream, Dream Big!  So he's gonna just keep practicing until he gets the call.  He'll be ready!

I printed out this little guy onto some copic friendly paper and then I also printed another one of this month's releases and placed it on the edge of the paper because all I really wanted was the antlers at the present time.  I cut it out using a scalloped background die and colored it all in with my copic markers.. added the antlers... and check out his ruby red nose... hard to tell, but it sparkles-almost like it lights up! :) Yeah... he's ready.

I die cut a few little snowflakes out of glitter paper and added some stickles all around the sky and on the ground ... 'cause it's snowing... he's got to work out in the conditions he may be working in some day!

My white middle layer was embossed with a snowflake embossing folder covered in Versamark ink.  After embossing, I added some glitter embossing powder and heat embossed the whole thing.  The blue was just embossed with the folder.  You have to be careful with the glitter embossing powder because if you heat it too long it will burn and not be sparkly but it's hard to tell when it's "done" so when I figure out the trick to that I will let you know.  But in the meantime, I start with a warm heat gun and heat it for what I deem to be an appropriate amount of time and then rub my finger across it in a small area to be sure it's on there.  As with most things I do... it's not very scientific...lol!

Then I added a little sparkly ribbon, a cute sentiment, a snowflake charm and some sequins!

I'm also playing along with the Fab N Funky Christmas Challenge and the QKR Stampede Christmas In July Challenge!  Check them out!

Now... head on over to the JessicaLynnOriginal Blog and see what else everyone has cooked up for you this week!  And be sure to stop back between now and the 4th because there is lots more!

And here are links to all of the new digital stamps available in the shop!
