Coffee Hop Day 3 & Good Friends

So... I've got some pretty awesome friends... some of them I've never met face to face...some I scrap with as often as possible... and some I've been friends with for many years.  This week I got a fat envelope in the mail from an unknown name.. and when I opened it, there was a note that it was from a friend along with a business card from the sender.  When I went to the blog address on the card it was confirmed... my friend had won a challenge, and asked that the prize, an awesome card and some goodies to create more cards, be mailed to me!

So I knew I'd have to use some of this stuff for the hop this week because this friend will be participating as well.  The papers I picked were from the prize as well as that cute little piece of note paper... well... the note paper is stamped on what is now the back of this note paper.  It's where the sender wrote the note so I decided I could still use it... I flipped it over and took one of my lined stamps to add lines to it and maybe a little marker too since it wasn't the right size.

So another friend gave me these adorable stamps from Darcie Heater Designs for my birthday... that coffee cup and that donut.  Maybe you recognize the stamps that coordinate with the buttons.  She knows I participate in the coffee hop and love it and that I don't nearly have enough coffee stamps...lol... so she gave me these and I LOVE them!  Aren't they cute?  But these elements didn't necessarily scream Fall so then I though who else might be friends with coffee and donuts... why pumpkin of course!  So I used one of the pumpkins from this month's release by JessicaLynnOriginal and added some googly eyes.  His eye lines came above the eyes, so I made them into little bushy eyebrows.  And I decided to give him a mustache with a stamp on my CDD set, Prickly.  I also added some hands and feet like the others... I think he turned out pretty cute!

This sentiment is on the Darcie Heater set and I used some of the CTMH leaves I had leftover and cut a few with my Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaf Dies.  I needed to spread some pinkish color around because of the donut, so I picked sorbet paper for my banner and my stitched leaves.

This beautiful twine came wrapped around my surprise gift, a button, some more leaves and of course some of those beautiful Paper Sweeties Creamsicle sequins.  This one was a lot of fun... there may or may not have been some solo giggling going on in my craft room.  It did help that Slim Suedy, my new puppy, was pretty mellow last night.

Thanks so much for stopping again.. lots more to come here so I'll see you around... now back to hopping!  Oh hey... and... my friends!  You know who you are (Not sure you want your names announced)... thank youuuuuu!!!!
