October 14: Paper Sweeties October 2016 New Release Sneak Peeks!


It's time for some October Release Sneak Peeks over at the Paper Sweeties Blog!  We've got some awesome Holiday inspiration for you this month and here is what I've made for you today:


You may or may not know that I kinda like gold... and especially for my holiday cards so you may or may not be seeing a bit of it during this release... oh... wait... yes... you definitely will...lol!  I LOVE the sentiments and other holiday stamps on the new Merry Little Christmas stamp set... I embossed one of them onto the front of my shaker right on the clear cardstock.  I used a card that can be an ornament also... so I punched a hole in the side and tied it with a bow so that if the recipient should decide to hang it up it will stay closed.


I also embossed some of the pretty snowflake images from Merry Little Christmas on vellum behind the shaker ... I chose vellum so that you could also lightly see the music elements from the paper.  And I filled the shaker with some pretty gold beads and the gorgeous irridescent white and clear snowflakes that make up the Snowflake Sequins.. these are some beautiful snowflakes!


I also cut a couple leaves from the Bee Happy Sweet Cuts and threw around a few of my favorite gold sequins.
