Craftin Desert Divas and a Leftover Giraffe Head!

So.... last month I made this card with a tractor on it... I used one of the digis from CDD, Giraffe Tractor Farm, which is an adorable giraffe on a tractor... but I didn't need the giraffe... so ... off with his head!  Now don't be upset... he didn't go to waste.  He's been sitting on my table waiting for his chance to shine and I've had this idea forming in my head since then.

I knew I wanted him peeking over a wall... but I didn't know what else and I was finally inspired this week that maybe he was at the zoo and there was a cute animal party going on!  And isn't the little birdie from the Fall Hall Digi Set perfect balancing on the banner from the Party Dies?

I thought I'd use some animal stamps I had, but they were too small and then I remembered this adorable Birthday Lion digi and I knew he'd be perfect and I could print him in any size I wanted!   Also, I'm playing along with Craft Creations Challenges #328, Animals!  You should check it out!

Love this heart balloon that's in the Party Dies... it's one of four balloons in the set and I also love the curly strings that go along with them... I loved making this one curl around the lions foot... after all... he's got to keep a good hold on that cupcake... he can't be worrying about holding onto a balloon too!  He knows what he's doing... he's been invited to a birthday party or two or three!

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope it was as fun for you look at as it was for me to make!  Come back tomorrow for a special treat!
