A Stacked Hello with Paper Smooches

Popping in one more time to share with you a card I made using lots of Paper Smooches sweetness!

I started off this card with the base... I used watercolor paper (this piece happened to already have some blue waterecolored in the background) and stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white these beautiful flowers from the Best Buds stamp set.  This is such a pretty set and so much fun to use with watercolors.  The blue was light and I wasn't sure how it would be to watercolor other colors over it, but I LOVE the distressed look it gave the whole piece, while still maintaining it's light and bright feel.

I used my Zig Clean Color markers to watercolor the flowers and leaves.  A wonderful way to watercolor in smaller spaces... LOVE those markers!

I knew I'd be using that awesome stitched Frame1 die behind my sentiment, so I took the brand spankin' new Hello die and cut a top layer Hello out of my background in the spot that would be covered by the frame diecut.  Then I cut 2 more of the top layer of the Hello and one of the bottom (outline) layer out of white glitter paper.  I stacked my three Hello's and glued them together with some Ranger Multi Medium Matte which you can get in a bottle with a thin tip or you can buy the jar and apply it with a small paintbrush.  I love it because it dries clear and with a matte finish so you don't see the overspill if there is any... and there always is in my craftroom!  Then I attached the stacked top layer to my bottom layer and then attached the whole piece to my frame diecut.  LOVE the way that Hello looks!

I just added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and I was done!  I'll be sharing a similar card... alike yet different.. soon!  Thanks so much for stopping today.  I'm linking this card up to the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge, the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge, and the Paper Smooches Guest Designer Search for December!  You should check these out and play along too!
