Coffee Lovers BlogHop-Day 5 With Paper Smooches!

Welcome to Day 5 of the Winter 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  And here's what I have for you today:

So you should know... I haven't gotten great reviews from my test audience on this one.  I've been told it looks like a duck and then the old "It's certainly unique" and my wonderful husband's... "what is that?  That is not a good card" before he knew it was mine...lol.  Can you tell what it is?   That's right!  It's a snowman squeezing the last few drops of coffee from a coffee cup!  (I'm just trying to make myself feel better... maybe you didn't guess... but can you see it now??)

I used the adorable new Snowman Card Dies to create this cutie.  I'm very excited to be Guest Designing over at the Paper Smooches Blog this month.  I was inspired by another card by Design Team Member Savannah O'Gwynn and you can check it out here!

Love this cup from the Coffee and Tea Dies.  I love it when a cup die has the inside of the handle cut out.  And that cute little snowman is from the Cool Dudes stamp set.  My snowman has a snowman coffee cup.. that's cute, right?  And the snowflakes on the cup and background... I cut some snowflakes using the Snowflakes Dies out of some double sided Elizabeth Crafts adhesive.  I peeled off once side of the adhesive and pressed the snowflakes onto the card and cup.  Then I peeled the opposite side off and ribbed on some Prisma Glitter.  I love the way it came out... sparkly, but it picked up the color from the paper.  Those coffee drops I cut free hand and added a few layers of Liquid Glass to make them look like droplets!

And there's a challenge going on over at Paper Smooches this month... all about winter!

I'm also linking up to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #435!  You should check this one out!

So, thanks for stopping today and hope you enjoyed it.  Honestly, I love this card!  Sorry if you don't...lol!

Hope to see you again tomorrow!

If you think you might want to play along, please do check out the post here on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog for all of the details!
