Cutting Cafe Inspiration-Christmas In July Part 1

O M G!!  Such fun stuff for you today over at the Cutting Cafe!  But first, it's time to announce the winner of the Bendi File that I used for my last Cutting Café post!  I used Random.org to choose the winner and it was:

Rochelle Dalton!

Yay Rochelle!  So happy she left her email in her comment.  I'll email you, Rochelle!  And thanks so much to everyone who stopped by and left me some love!

Now, for today's project we are using some of the many shaped critter cards that Regina carries and dressing them up for Christmas!  I chose one of the Bunny Shaped Cards and I knew I wanted to use this cutie pie with his giant bunny feet and big floppy ears!  I also used the Christmas Photo Booth Props file to create my Christmas Presents and Santa Hat and Beard.

LOL!  So cute!  The hardest part for me was his face because once I added the hat and beard he didn't look much like a bunny in the face.  So I punched out a couple circles from the gray paper with an old school circle punch and added them to his face as his muzzle and then drew in some dots and whiskers.  Lastly a cute pink nose from Nuvo Drops.

When I added the hat and beard, I decided to texture the white parts using Nuvo Drops.  I added dots leaving space in between and let them dry while I worked on other parts of the card.  Then in the open spaces I added more drops... I did this about 4 times... my last layer on the mustache I made a little more filled in... I love the way the whole thing turned out!

The presents I cut with the photo booth props and had planned to cut out bows too, but I had made them so much smaller than the actual pattern I thought it would be good to use some bow dies for the bows.  and the two smallest packages are stickers from the paper pack I used.  I also used some Christmas foliage dies to decorate his hat and his "neck".  And for his Santa Pajamas, I added a glitter tape stripe and some buttons made from black Nuvo drops.

So much fun!  Now be sure to check out what other critters are all dressed up for Christmas!  Start at the Cutting Cafe Blog and comment there for a chance to win three files of your choice from the shop!

Thanks for stopping!
