A Sunny Birthday Wish

There is a new challenge over at the Paper Smooches Blog!  It's a sketch challenge and I had a lot of fun with it creating this colorful card!  Here's the sketch:

You know I'm usually pretty liberal with my sketches, but today for the most part I stuck to it!  Maybe mine has more wavy lines than straight...lol!  but I know you can see it!

I knew I wanted to use the Wavy Patterns dies and the Wavy Wishes stamp set!  I've had them for a while and had yet to use them.  I decided a birthday rainbow was in order... you know how I feel about rainbows!  And then of course the adorable sun and cloud from the Sunnyville stamp set... SO adorable!

It was SO easy to stamp these sentiments from Wavy Wishes onto the diecuts from Wavy Patterns..All I did was place my white piece onto a darker colored cardstock so I could clearly see the outline and it stamped perfectly the first time...no Misti even!  Patting myself on the back right now!

OF course I squeezed some Lawn Fawn plaid in there... another of my faves.. and I used those adorable Rainbow Wheel Sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness for the two embellishments shown in the sketch.

Thanks for stopping!  Be sure to come back soon!  I had lots of leftovers from this one and used them to make a bunch of backgrounds that I'll be sharing with you all month using them with various PS stamp sets!  Are you so excited?...lol... it's ok if you're not... but I am!  Hope to see you again soon!
