Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #137

Welcome to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #137!  This week Michelle has a really fun sketch for us.  I took the opportunity to stretch my coffee lovin' muscles and use some of my new coffee stamp sets because that hop starts next week!  I used White Pines blue cardstock B&T paper along with Kraft and Glacier Blue cardstock.  I also used the heart images from Stamplorations Sketchy Cups and the squirrels, cup, macaroons and mitten are from the Poppy Stamps set, Cup of Cheer.  The adorable sentiment is from Stamplorations Caffeinated Christmas set.  The creator of this set, Becca Cruger used it along with the squirrels on a card she made and I thought they went together so well I decided to do the same.  You can see her card here.

My oh so talented friend, Mitra also reminded me that you can color your white seam binding ribbon multi colors in addition to just dying it one color so I borrowed that idea and used a sponge to add blue and pink to my ribbon for this card.  You can see her beautiful rainbow ribbon here on her awesome project she made for the Visions of Sugar Plums Hop.

I'm entering this card in two challenges: the Visions of Sugar Plums Christmas/Winter Challenge as well as the Stamplorations December Caseplorations Challenge.  Check out both of these challenges as well as the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  There are so many inspirational ideas and so much fun in all of these-it would be a shame to miss any of it.  And while you're there... play along!  You've got nothing to lose and in some cases there are prizes to win if not just the bragging rights!  I dare you!

  2. rock star! So super cute! makes me happy and want to jump up and start crafting! this whole having to work thing really is not so much fun since we can't stay up all hours and craft! tell me about your tape project! You never know, I might have an idea...don't worry about seams...the paint cover them...just use something hard like a credit card to really push the edges down and seal them...
