Ok... so my tax season has started. But Christmas is still upon us so instead of chores in the morning I've been trying to get some presents made... finished... I only have about 10 projects going on all at once. I was determined to FINISH something this morning. This started off as another one of those Hobby Lobby frame/picture ornaments I picked up while I was back in NY. Of course I forgot to take pics along the way, so basically I painted it, stamped a music note background on it, tried to use crackle paint which didn't workout, used some gold embossing paste with a lace stencil and then glitter paint. Yeah... Just a few steps...lol! Then I turned it into a shaker and put flowers and gold and glitter all over it. I've learned a few things but I guess that's what it's all about. It's not exactly as I pictured it, but I suppose for a first try with some things it's not too bad. I'm entering this into the Choux Choux Paper Arts Visions of Sugar Plums Christmas/Winter Challenge. There is a lot of goodness to be seen in those projects and I highly suggest you check it out if not play along!
Absolutely gorgeous! I love all the sparkle! Beautiful ornament!
