Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges #20-Interactive Cards!

Welcome to the November 2018 Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!  This month we're challenging you to create an interactive card!  Anything that requires movement from you to make something happen with the card...from Pop-ups to Shakers to Reveal Wheels... let's get them moving!  Here's how I was inspired:

I was so happy to finally ink up these adorable pups from the Frenchie Stamp Set from Tracy Hey! I took them to a crop a couple weeks ago and I decided to try a little No Line Coloring with them.. I started by stamping them with some Fadeout Ink from Inkon3.  Then I used my Copic markers to color them... just like I normally would but covering over the light lines with the marker.  I love the way they turned out!

And then this morning I took out my Prismacolor pencils and added some depth and detail... something I learned during my visit with Kathy Racoosin from the Daily Marker when i was lucky to attend one of her Road Trip stops!  I love this way to add to an image and make it better without having to worry about losing contrast and making all of my images too dark by continually having to go over and blend with my markers.  Aren't these too SOOO cute!

We should probably talk about the background!  I decided to make a shaker for our Interactive Card challenge this month.  I've been dying to use this new plaid die from Lil' Inker Designs for a while and decided I needed to use it for my shaker.  I cut two of the plaid layers and flipped one around which creates the cool plaid look.  One plate... two layers... awesome!  Then I layered some acetate behind those two layers and added some foam tape to that.  I added my sequins into the well and then attached the back orange layer.

Finally I cut a window from the kraft top layer and used the CAS-ual Fridays Bubble Box dies to create a window, embossed the kraft and layered that on top.  You just have to know ahead that your popup tape won't show through the window so I cut mine all first and layered them in a practice run to be sure.

Then I layered all of my pieces on... my adorable pups, the heart balloons I cut using some dies from MFT and the awesome Balloon Strings and that cute Celebrate word die from Lil' Inker.  I always like to add a few of the sequins from shaker on the outside...almost like a few escaped!

That's it for me today!  And don't forget that the 30 Day Coloring Challenge has started!  Today is Day 3 and I'll be doing some more coloring and sharing on Instagram in a while.

And you should also check out what Donna has made for you today and also we have a special guest designer this month.. see what Alyson has put together... I think you're gonna love it!  And then be sure to hop on over to the Three Amigos Blog and play along!
