It's February and time for a new challenge over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge! This month the theme is Christmas, Coffee and at least one Heart! Our sponsor is LTTS Doodles and this fun Etsy shop makes the most adorable digis! I've used the super sweet Sweet Yeti digi set for today and here's how I was inspired:
I made lots of backgrounds for today's Therm O Web post and I had some left over so I used one for this one... the adorable Dainty Hearts Toner Card Front foiled in Pink Melon! And then I added some snow drops using the Tiny Snowfall Stencil from Miss Ink! First I applied some Glitz Glitter Gel and after that dried a second layer (offset) with Transfer Gel Blanco.
I added the snowflake, greeting and some pretty hearts cut from foil using some old favorite dies from Paper Smooches (super miss this shop!).
And as if that wasn't fun enough! Today is my day up on the blog over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers!
I took the opportunity to use the 2nd digi in the Sweet Yeti set for a second card!
This little sweetie didn't have a coffee cup but that's ok! When you have cups in all sizes it's easy to add one. I used a craft knife (loving my new Art Knife from Olfa) to cut around his mitten so I could slide the cup handle underneath.
I added some stitched hills to this one, a sentiment built from two stamps from Miss Ink and more of those cute Paper Smooches hearts and chunky snowflake.
This card front was foiled in the Enchanted Rose foil... I just LOVE the variation in colors that foil gives off... almost rainbow like as you move it around!
I'm playing along over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog with some stitching (on my snowy layer) and my magical Sweet Yeti. You have until Sunday, February 5th to play along! (Note that the Fairy and The Unicorn challenge ended January 31st.)
I hope you enjoyed it! Don't forget to hop on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blogs and say hello there! You're going to love all the extra inspiration at CCCC ... and my mom is guesting there too so check out her super adorable card!
And I highly recommend you give LTTS Doodles shop a visit! I guarantee you're gonna find something there you need to have!
Come again soon!

Oh so CUTE, love them both!
Lisa, such a darn cute card with your Yeti sipping a hot drink! You even included stitching, so you met both parts of our Double Trouble "keep us in stitches" and optional "mythical creature" challenge!! Thank you so much for sharing your card and how you went about creating it!!! -Donna
Wonderful cards, Lisa! Thank you for joining Double Trouble Challenge #130.
Lisa, this is DARLING! I love how clean and simple yet wowza it is! That little yeti is so cute and I love the big snowflake as an accent. So happy to see this in the Double Trouble gallery :)
Fantastic confetti backgrounds and scenes created for your Yeti digi. I think I would have more luck on coloring this Yeti than the one we did at Boot Camp, but I haven't given up yet on that one, still in my stash, thought maybe you would attempt the eye again on Yeti. Both Yeti cards are adorable and love the sentiments. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble.
