Beautiful Blooms I Miss - Hellebore

I love that I don't live where it snows any more, but there are some beautiful blooms that don't grow well in the desert that I miss... the wonderful Hellebore is one of them!  This image from Stampendous was so much fun to color up!  I decided on purple and it's made me realize again how little purple there is in the crafting world!  I was so happy to find that purple plaid in the Summer Plaid paper pad from Your Next Stamp!  It was exactly right! 

I picked up this beautiful bloom, the Small Hellebore by Stampendous over in the White Rose Crafts Shop with my winnings from their monthly sketch challenge so I thought I'd use it to play along with the July Challenge:

Sketch challenges can be the most... well... challenging challenges for me.  I'm rarely able to be a purist about it, but I'd say I came pretty close this time!  And I'm quite happy with the results!

This "small" Hellebore is really the perfect size... I'd say not to small but large enough to be able to have fun coloring it and take up just the right amount of space on a card.

The Celebrate Die-Namic from MFT was also just the ticket... I was excited to get a couple of those leaves to stick out of the sentiment.  So happy I finally got my hands on that awesome word die!  And I decided to play on the green in the leaves with a strip of green CTMH Shimmer Trim... not sure if the green is available any more... I may have to hoard what I have left!!

I finished off with some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh... I love those great big ones!  So much fun!

White Pines PML Christmas Card Workshop

Join me in my home on Saturday, November 21st from 1pm to 4pm for a 10-card Christmas Card Workshop.  The cost of the workshop is $25.  We will create 10 different cards, two each of 5 similar designs, but each card will be unique.  You will have some supplies leftover to continue to create more cards and can purchase additional cardstock and accessories from me or use your own supplies at home along with the remaining printed papers and PML cards.  Or, use them to create a beautiful Christmas layout!  Afterall, they were meant to be a scrapbooking program!

 

Over the last couple weeks, I've slowly revealed all 10 cards which are in the picture above.  I've also been sharing additional cards I made with some of the extra PML cards leftover and will be also showing a layout (or two) in the coming weeks.  The workshop fee of $25 covers half a pack of White Pines Paper, the White Pines PML Scrapbooking Program cards, card bases and envelopes and some flowers and bling for embellishing.  For an extra $10 receive a full pack of paper and an additional 10 cards and envelopes.  Add on Complements and/or an Assortment pack for $6 each.

 

Most papers will be precut (except for the PML cards-we will cut them that day).  It is possible to make this a Skype workshop, however, additional shipping charges will apply.

 

Please sign up by November 10th to allow time to order supplies and put the kits together.

These are the last two cards we'll make and after we're done you'll have plenty of PML cards and ideas to continue on with your cardmaking!  See the next post for the details on the workshop.

Leftovers?

 

Two more with leftover cards from the workshop .... I added some complements to the owl card and I used Paper Sweeties sweet cuts to cut out the Joy on the bear/fox card.

 

You will have all of these additional PML cards to take home and use for more Christmas cards.  I did use some additional items to make them, but you can purchase extras or you can use what you already have at home to make more cards.

Confetti Wishes Scrapbook Layout Workshop

 

 

Join me in my home on Saturday, July 25th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for a three page scrapbook layout workshop.  We will put together one two-page layout and a separate one-page layout using the Confetti Wishes paper and various CTMH Cricut cuts and embellishments.  There are 5 spots open.  Sign up and pay by Thursday, July 16th.  The cost is $15 and includes all supplies shown including pre-cut papers.  You bring your own adhesive and a good pair of scissors.  Upon registration you will be sent additional details via email.  Email me at bzscrapper66@gmail.com to sign up.

 

These layouts are great for those photos that aren't all cropped close and are maybe a bit smaller.  Or use bigger photos, but less on a page.  Bring your photos and I can help you decide how to place them or just put together the main pieces of the layout and add your photos at a later date.
