For My Sweet Bunny - Miss Ink

Welcome back!  Sharing a sweet card today using the Springtime Bunnies and Springtime Banners stamp sets along with the Rainbow Builder Stencil Set and Cloud Builder Stencil..

My inspiration came from the current challenge over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog and this super sweet Mood Board:

I'm linking up over there at Double Trouble and also linking up to the Bitten By The Bug 2 Oh Baby Challenge, who is partnering with the Double Trouble ladies for this challenge!  They've changed their rules a little for this challenge and you need to use either a machine cut or die cut on your project... I've got that fabulous frame from Rubbernecker!

And don't you just love that rainbow... it's hard to see here, but I used some Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel for the embellishment layer... stars and lines and such ... and I love the subtle glittery accent.

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed your visit and you'll come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Stained "Glass" Anyone?

Welcome back!  It's been a few days, but I've been busy creating including this one!  I was looking at the beautiful holographic papers from ETC Papers and had an idea!

I loved the way using alcohol inks on EVO paper with texture paste applied through a stencil looked on this prior card here and was wondering what would happen if I used a stencil to apply clear texture paste on some Hologram Paper and then alcohol inks and I LOVE it!

It's quite hard to pick up ALL of the nuances of this background with the Floral Stained Glass stencil... aside from the beautiful colors, the sparkle that comes through from the holographic paper is amazing!

And I decided to go a little Eastery with this one using the Springtime Banners and Springtime Bunnies stamp sets.  I decided to give it a sentiment from Little Angel so it doesn't have to necessarily be for Easter.

If you love sparkle and shine... you are gonna extra love these holographic papers. It's definitely given me some ideas for another and I'll be sharing that sometime this month!

I am playing along with a few challenges with this one!  Over at Double Trouble it's Anything Goes!  But I've also met the Twist by using colored images for their National Crayon Day celebration.  Use any of your coloring mediums (non techie) to meet the twist.

I'm also playing along with 2 Crafty Critter Crazies which is always Anything Goes with a Critter!  I've got some of those on this one!

Thanks for stopping and be sure to come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Love You Always

One of my favorite stamp sets from Miss Ink is the sweet Springtime Bunnies set!  These sweet bunnies in all kinds of poses (there are also some flowers and Easter eggs but since this wasn't an Easter card I didn't use those.  Instead I used the florals, a banner and butterflies from Springtime Banners.

This could be a Valentine or just a springtime hello... I also threw in a few envelopes from the You've Goat Mail stamp set.  And the Mini Slimline from Trinity was perfect to make this a shaker!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you enjoyed it!

Come again soon!

Hey Beautiful - Miss Ink Stamps

I'm back again with some more Hay Daze from Miss Ink Stamps!  Yesterday I was up on the Miss Ink blog with one of these mini scenes using the so versatile Slimline Background Stamp and if you'd like to check it out and see all of the cards I've made so far using this scene stamp, you can take a look at that right here!

I pretty much built this one in the same fashion as yesterday's card and the piece was left over when I stamped the slimline background and die cut two pieces.. one for an A2 and then this one!  I colored it up, added the frames and then some images from Springtime Bunnies, Springtime Banners, and that cute skinny sentiment from the Decaf Background!

I absolutely love these new background stamps and how many different ways you can use them!

Thanks for stopping and please do come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps Release Day - Scene Builder Meadow!

Yay!  Today is the day!  You can find all of the new stamp sets in the shop!

I'm celebrating today using the new Scene Builder Meadow set along with the bunnies, sentiment, chicks and flowers from Springtime Bunnies and the sweet little butterflies from Say Cheese!

The very cool thing about this set is there are a lot of separate pieces to the scene and it's so easy to use on so many different projects!  I used it as it lays on the sheet for today in its full slimline design.  I stamped all of my parts onto a panel cut from Copic friendly paper and colored it with my Copic markers.  Then I colored all of my little add on critters and flowers and attached them with varying thicknesses of foam tape.

So much fun right??  I'll be sharing lots of cards in the coming weeks with various pieces parts from this set.

If you want them, you can find all of the new sets in the shop here!

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed the last few days as much as I have!  Come again soon!

Painting With Glitter - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  It's a new month and I've got a new technique I'm playing with this month.  Heidi from Miss Ink mentioned Painting With Glitter and she dared me so here we are!

I'll be using the adorable Say Cheese stamp set I think for my projects this month along with a few other things!  I just love the adorable little dressed up mice and companion critters in this set!!  Aren't they adorable??  I stamped, cut out, and colored my images and added some of the pretty daisies from the Springtime Bunnies set.

I started my background by ink blending some Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxides through the Sunburst Stencil.  Then I added some orange and yellow chunky glitter from my stash into a little watercolor tray and added some Glossy Accents and stirred.  Then I took a paintbrush and painted the glitter onto the sunrays.. the Glossy Accents gave the entire stenciled area a beautiful sheen, but the glitter pieces were spread out and flat. I left the center of the sun glitterless so that my little critters wouldn't get lost in all of the sparkle..

As soon as I was done, I rinsed out the tray and my brush and then used some Dazzle Dust in pink to paint the little mouse's skirt and the flowers.  It's a fun and easy way to add just a little glitter without it getting too messy and bumpy and since it's thin, it dries quickly!  I added the photo frame from Trinity and then used foam tape to add all of my images in and outside of the frame!

Finally, I added some Watercolor Butterflies and Trinity sequins!

That was fun!  I've already got ideas for the next one and can't wait to try it out!  Thanks for stopping and come again soon!

Somebunny Special - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!!  Let me start with sending out love and hugs to everyone!  We sure do need as much as possible with all of the craziness out there!  I'm making one more trip to the grocery store to see what I can "gather" and then hunkering down.  I've been working from home since Tuesday.  I love not having to commute, but I do miss some people.  I hope you are doing well both mentally and physically and if you want to chat you can find me on the Interweb still!

Today I'm sharing this one using the quite adorable Springtime Bunnies from Miss Ink Stamps!

I stamped and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut bunches of images from the set knowing I'd want to use all of them and multiple times!

I used some dies from Trinity Stamps including that cute frame and the landscape cuts.  And one of the clouds was the perfect place to put my sentiment and one more chick!  And I made my background using some Distress Oxide Ink and the Scene Builder Stencil.

Short and sweet today!  Have to be on my way and get back home!  I'll tell you my pups are very happy right now to have me home all day.  I'm dreading the hubby possibly being home as well... idk... let's hope that doesn't happen!!!  LOL!

Stay safe and healthy!  I'll be here as often as possible sharing some inspiration.  There is a lot scheduled to be going on over the next couple weeks and hopefully it will help keep your mind occupied and happy for at least some of the time.

See you soon!

Sending Big Hugs - Miss Ink Stamps

I'm back again with some more Miss Ink Dazzle Dust!  Today I'm playing with the Rose Garden variety!

It's a beautiful pink to green shift that made me think of Spring!

I made a paste again by mixing the glitter along with some Glossy Accents and applied it through the Halftone Lines Bold Edges stencil.

Once it was dry, I laid it under my Misti and placed a heavy box on top of it because it was a little curly.  I left it over night and it worked very nicely to flatten it.  I used strong adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives along all of the edges to be sure it stayed that way!  And the adorable bunny and beautiful florals and sentiment ribbon from Springtime Bunnies and Springtime Banners were perfect to decorate along with a sentiment from the Decaf Background set (I just curved it a little on my block so that it would fit perfectly in the banner).

And there you have it!  I think this would make a beautiful Springtime or Valentines card for anyone!

Thanks for stopping!  Be sure to come back soon and often for more inspiration!
