Paper Sweeties Challenge - June 2017 Anything goes!

Can't believe it's June already and time for the June Paper Sweeties Challenge!  Isn't this such a sweet inspiration photo??  Here's how I was inspired:

That red gingham... just love it... and the white with a pop of green... the lace in the jam cover...

I decided to use the cup die from the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Sweet Cuts die set.  I cut it in white and then took the rose from the Party Time stamp set to decorate it with some roses in red of course!

And while the Keep Calm set does have it's own awesome steam die... I have just loved using the hearts from the Over The Rainbow Set as steam for my coffee creations... I stamped and cut it three times since this a pretty good sized cup of coffee...

And you know I love those sweet flowers and leaves from Hello Spring...

And those sentiments from the Love You To Pieces set... love the fonts on these!  And this scalloped oval was just the perfect size to use for my sentiment... um... wait!  Where'd that little oval come from?... hmmmmmm...

Well, be sure to check out what everyone else has made for you today!

Do What Makes You Awesome!

Popping in for a very quick post today to remind you that you have a few hours left to play along with the May Challenge over at Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges to use the paper pack from CTMH Little Dreamer, or inspiration from the colors in it!  Here is the paper pack:

Love this sentiment from Unity Stamp Co-their sentiments are my favorite!  It was perfect with some black glitter embossing powder....

And originally I had put flowers on this, but they just weren't right... so unlike me, I ripped off the flowers and found this leftover from one of the CTMH cartridges in my stash and it was perfect!  I also used some old embellishments... although now I have some flowers I need to use on another card so they aren't lying around...lol!

Hope you will play along with us!  And while you're at it, do what I did and play along over at Color My Heart Color Dare!  They are featuring Little Dreamer this week too!

Thanks for stopping and come back tomorrow for some Paper Sweeties goodness!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #214

Welcome to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I was inspired by one of last week's participants, Gwen to create a page instead of a card.  I made a mini album quite a while ago with the intention of filling it with layouts using some of my Sister In Law's favorite photos and after quite some time sitting and waiting, it finally saw the light today.  My plan is to use the Atlantic Hearts Sketch each week to complete the book.

I was lucky enough to attend Advanced Copic Retreat last week for a weekend long class taught by Jennifer Dove.  It was a wonderful weekend and we all received so many gifts from so many sponsors.  One of those sponsors was LDRS Creative and I did a little shopping in the evening before I went to bed and purchased a few items.. including that oh so pretty Dainty Doily Border die and a very cool doodley Hooty Owl stamp that included those pretty flowers and matching dies... I still need to ink up that owl and you'll be seeing that for sure!

And what was even cooler, were these pretty dies that were also included in with the Hooty Owl set!  It was like an extra gift I didn't expect.

So thanks to LDRS for being a very generous sponsor for our very wonderful weekend!

The paper is a very very old CTMH paper pack mixed with a newer plaid from Photo Play Paper Co Mad 4 Plaid and the sequins are CTMH... I also scattered some gold Nuvo drops around... the sentiment is Close to My Heart and the banner die is from Craftin Desert Divas.

Please hop on over to Atlantic Hearts and Play along!  Love this Sketch... very versatile!  Thanks for a great sketch Michelle!

More Watercolored Plaid

I've had this watercolored plaid background diecut sitting around on my workspace for a while and I was thinking about this Paper Smooches Cute Cluster flower die and decided I needed to use them together for another entry to the Paper Smooches Monthly Challenge for May 2017 - Flowers.

I was so lucky to find some leftover watercolored paper that happened to go perfectly with the background!  So I used it to diecut the flower... love how that turned out!

I wanted to use this Cheers sentiment die as well but felt like I needed a little something adorable and I found this adorable bear from the Courteous Cuties stamp set... he was holding that flower, but I preferred the tropical drink and umbrella from the Pineapple Crush 2 Sentiment set...although I couldn't BEAR to throw away the flower so I thought it would be cute in the drink... I'm pretty sure I was right...

I just love that flower... well.... both of them... the bold one that shouts a bit and that cute little one in the drink... I guess I just love flowers!

Thanks for stopping and you should play along with Paper Smooches too!  You have to use at least one Paper Smooches product, but if you don't have any, there are some cute free downloads you can use!  No reason not to!

Sorry, Not Sorry!

I've had this idea in my head for a few days now and finally got a chance to get it down on paper.  The best part was, usually when I print my digis I print a few and cut them out using my Brother Scan N Cut 2 so that I have some at the ready to use... and this little pup was exactly the right size for my project..

He seems pretty pleased with himself... he was able to find (almost) all of his bones he had saved for later... I can see mine looking exactly like this and so excited to show me what he'd done... originally I was thinking I'd make this a Sorry card, but ... really... he doesn't look very sorry, does he?

I love that the little dirt mounds in the Garden Border die set have cutout areas to place whatever it is you're growing... as you can see here, my pup kind of did a little damage in the garden while digging up his treasure.. but those carrots weren't important and he's sure no one will mind (mine would be eating those too).. they like to pick cherry tomatoes out of the garden from time to time to time...

He forgot one!  But I'm sure he'll snag it before too long...

So once I decided he wasn't very sorry, I cut this sentiment out of the Puppy Love paper pack from Doodlebug... I thought it was more fitting...

Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see you again soon!

Little Dreamer and Paper Smooches!

Have you played along with us yet over at the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges?  I'm sharing another card with the featured paper pack from Close to My Heart, Little Dreamer.  No worries though.. if you don't have this paper pack, then you can just use the colors.. here's the photo of the paper for inspiration:

So pretty right?  And you don't have to use unicorns with it, but I just couldn't help myself!

Love this sweet unicorn from Paper Smooches Spectrum stamp set!  I'm also playing along with the Paper Smooches Challenge this month which is flowers... I used these premade flowers from my stash and added some Wink of Stella to the ones that didn't have any glitter already on them.  I'm also playing along with this week's Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge.  They're featuring the colors from this paper pack too this month and it was a challenge for me to only use the colors specified...especially when it came to Juniper because I didn't have a marker that matched that color, but a mixture of blue, green, and gray did the trick... and I love the Scribbled Circles dies from Craftin Desert Divas... it was perfect for the silver in this color palette and I also used some silver Wink of Stella on her horn....

You Are!  I so appreciate you always stopping by and putting up with my shenanigans!  This sentiment is from the Paper Smooches set as well... I just love the fonts in Kim's sets.. so much fun!

You should play along with us at Three Amigos!  And if you play over at Color My Heart Color Dare, then you can definitely also play along with us at Three Amigos!  And check out Paper Smooches if you haven't before.  You do need to use at least one Paper Smooches product on your card or project, but if you don't have any, she's got some free digis there to help you get started!

And if you love to play along with the Three Amigos, grab our badge!  I think it's kinda very cute!

**Update** I was a winner over at Color Dare!
