National Coffee Day With AJVD - A Cozy Cup Shaker

This is my second card for National Coffee Day!  A Jillian Vance Design is a Sponsor!  Today I'm sharing a shaker I made using the fabulous Cozy Cup die set!

I used the cup die and lined it up when cutting out a panel of Gel Printed paper using one of the Mini Slimline die.  I cut a base panel and adhered a piece of alcohol inked paper made using some EVO Paper and some browns, tans and gold alcohol inks.  I also cut a heart from the same panel.

I added some sequins and popped the panel up over it.  Finally a sentiment from Brewed to Perfection and added the heart and I was done!

Now be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog so you can keep on hopping for your chances to win some free stuff!

And don't forget there's a sale going on over at AJVD until tomorrow (September 30th)!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

National Coffee Day 2021 - Coffee Loving Cardmakers-Ellen Hutson

Oh Happy Day!  It's National Coffee Day!  We've been celebrating all week over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and we're topping it off with a special hop today!  When you're done here, head on over there for tons of fun!

Before you go, hang out for a bit and see what I've got for you!  Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson is a Sponsor and the CLC Design Team is sharing tons of projects with the adorable Bear Cozy Essentials Kit!

Here's how I was inspired:

Isn't he cute???  You can use this awesome kit to make some Coffee Wraps OR ... well, lots of other stuff!  I used it along with that awesome Mug Card die from Trinity Stamps to make this shaped card.  I cut the cup from some gel printed paper and then added the felt bear using felt and dies from the EH Kit!  The sentiment on the front came from another EH set called Latte Love.

The card die has a cool inside layer with little tabs to hold a gift card.  And I used the All The Feels Die from Ellen Hutson and the tiny sentiment from a set in my stash.

I mean... adorable!  BUT wait until you see what everyone else has made... there are some pretty spectacular makes by some pretty spectacular ladies!

Head on over to the CLC and check them all out and find out how you can win some stuff!

Thanks so much and come again soon!

Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas - September 2021 Edition

Welcome back to Crafty Elves for September 2021!  Debra, Michael and I are sharing the Christmas cards we made this month.  And be sure to hang around 'til the end to see if you won some Happy Mail from last month!

Here's how I was inspired:

Awwwwww.... right???  I fell in love with this stamp from Colorado Craft Company called Puppy's Quilt the minute I saw it and it doesn't have to be a Christmas image, but using the right colors and sentiment it can be!  I found the perfect sentiment on an old Lil' Inker stamp set.  The frame is from AJVD and you can find that here if you like it (and psst...there's a sale going on over there for the next few days!)

For my next three cards I used a stamp set from Art Impressions that I love!  It's called Santa Paws and I've used it for my Crafty Elves post before on some mini cards.  This time I used them for these full sized cards:

I got this awesome Fa La La die from MFT Stamps from a local craft store a while ago and decided it made the perfect background shaker for these crooning canines!  It was a quick and simple design.  The background die is retired, but you might be able to find one somewhere if you love it!

Next up is this little guy!

I had a lot of fun adding him to the Joy shaker I made using the Joy Shaker die from Pretty Pink Posh!  I used the Sketch for this month's Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers challenge!  You have 'til the end of the month to play along and you can find the details in the Facebook Group here!  Sketch is below!

I used the sketch for a second card too!  It's a great sketch for using up some design paper scraps.. you know, like the bit of a 6x6 paper after you cut a base panel out of it!

I used two of the pups for this one and they make the perfect pair... one chihuahua is a grump but the golden makes up for it... seems about right!

Here's the sketch:

Before you go to check out what Michael and Debra have for you, let's see who won some Happy Mail from last month's post:

National Coffee Day Week - A Jillian Vance Design

Welcome to the celebration of all things coffee!  September 29th is National Coffee Week and we're celebrating all week over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and it starts today!  Be sure to head over there and check out today's post because A Jillian Vance Design is sponsoring our Coffee Loving Cardmakers post today and you can comment there for your chance to win a $20 gift code good on any order of $20 or more!

We'll have tons of chances to win all week with a special Sponsor Hop on National Coffee Day on the 29th!  Be sure to visit the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog each day for another chance to win!

I've used the Cozy Cup , the Art Deco Frame, and that big pumpkin from the Autumn Pumpkin stamp set along with a sentiment from the Pumpkin Spice sentiment stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design!

I started with a gel print backround and die cut it using a rectangle die.  Then I layered it onto yellow and orange cardstock.  I cut the Art Deco Frame twice and stacked them together and then glued them onto the gel print panel.

I added the pumpkin that I stamped, die cut and colored.  I cut the cup twice... once from yellow cardstock and inserted the little eyelets die with the cup and then layered it on top of a blue-ish layer.  I cut the coffee die from scrap cardstock and colored it with browns and added it to the cup and the steam (my favorite steam die) from vellum.  I added it to the card and then some Glossy Accents.  Finally I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of cardstock and added it along with a few sequins.

Now don't forget to head over to the CLC blog for your chance to win!  AND there's more inspiration up there for A Jillian Vance Design AND my teamie Robyn has joined me for today with some Angie Blom Designs inspiration!  Head over there now!
