Rubbernecker Stamps - Just Chillin'

Hello!  I'm excited to share this one with you today!  I am in love with all of these adorable images and I had a play with some alcohol inks and Alcohol Lift Ink!

I've used bunches of stamp sets along with this beautiful background stamp!

My step by step process is up on the blog and you can find it here if you're interested!

I'm playing along over at Double Trouble's Magical challenge!  Gnomes are pretty magical and I've used lots of dies on this one, so I've also played along with the Twist!  Today is the last day to play along, but if you miss out, be sure to check out the new challenge that starts on Monday!

I just love looking at this one with all it's cuteness!  And love how these pretty flowers are so subtle in the background with the green and blue.. giving the feeling of earth and sky.

Thanks for stopping and if you'd like more details and additional process photos then please do hop on over to the Rubbernecker Blog!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop-Last Call With Miss Ink!

Welcome to the last day of the Spring/Summer 2021 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  You have until the end of today to create and link up for chances to win some fabulous prizes from even fabulous-er Sponsors!

Here's how I was inspired today:

This Jitters stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps is SO fun and awesome!  It's a background stamp, but also includes those fun images and some wonderful sentiments!

I started by stamping the background in Versamark and heat embossing with some Mixed Media Powder from Ranger.  This is easiest using a stamp positioner like the Misti so you can be sure to get great coverage as with all background stamps.  Then I blended some Distress Oxides over it and wiped it off with a paper towel.

It turned out I had that awesome square frame in my stash and the colors were perfect and although it's plaid I thought it was perfect even with the busy background... probably because the colors were SO close... I love the patterns together!

I just added my stamped, cut and colored images with popup tape and the sentiment.

There is a sale going on all caffeinated products in the Miss Ink shop and this one is on sale at a great price!  So worth adding to your stash!  The images are great on their own or as part of a larger scene.

Thank you for stopping today!!  Be sure to play along with the hop.  Have fun and good luck!!  It is tax season and I'm hopping a bit... I won't be able to comment everywhere I stop, but I will be visiting each one of you for sure.

Craft Elves' Countdown to Christmas March 2021 Edition!

Merry Christmas in March!  It's time for the Crafty Elves to share the Christmas cards we made this month!

I decided I needed to really get to know the Winter Gnomes set from Sweet N Sassy Stamps so my first three cards use images from that one...

I decided to keep all of my cards fairly simple in design and used a similar formula for each.  I used up some old Doodlebugs papers and tried to coordinate them with the theme of my image.  This sentiment is from the Winter Gnomes set.

I decided on that photo frame from Trinity Stamps because it was the perfect size for a small simple scene and for these image sizes... I cut some landscape from glitter paper using these Rubbernecker dies.  I love them because they have stitching on both sides of the cut lines!  I just trimmed them down to fit inside the frame.  I also cut a few snowflakes from a couple different places like Paper Smooches and A Jillian Vance Design.

I think this one is my favorite... of course the coffee (or cocoa if you prefer) and decided to use an old Paper Smooches die set.  Love the candies and cookie and they were fun to cut from Copic friendly paper and color them and then add glitter to some of them.  I used a sentiment from an old MFT set because it was just right.

Did I mention I'm playing along with the Coffee Lovers blog Hop??  You have today and tomorrow to pay along too!  I'm linking up this one for sure!

For my last card, I decided to use an adorable set called Spit Happens from The Cat's Pajamas... it's no longer available, however, you may want to head over to their shop because they've got big progressive sale action going on as they are going digital.  Lots of fun stamps and dies on sale for 20% off at last check and I'm sure you'll find something you love!

Anyway, here's how I was inspired:

Aren't these guys adorable???  I had that MFT Happy Holidays die cut already cut and used the Fleece Navidad from an MFT stamps set because this one wasn't a Christmas set.  I'm linking this one up to the Coffee Lovers Hop too because one of these little guys is drinking a cup of coffee!  I love that the dies for this one cut out his cute little hooves.

Now for last month's winner of some Happy Mail!

Crystal, send me your snail mail so I can get you some Happy Mail!

Thanks to all of you who stop and give us love each month!  I'm doing it again except this time I know ahead of time what I'll be sending you!  If you love that cookie and candy die set I used on the Candy Cane card, then you're gonna love love it at your house!  Just comment here for your chance to have it come to your house!

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to Debra's and Michael's places to see what they've created for you this month!

And also head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers and play along there too!  You have today and tomorrow to play along!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop - Day 5

Welcome back!  It's Day 5 of the Hop and I'm playing along today with some The Rabbit Hole Designs, A Jillian Vance Design, and Miss Ink Stamps!

I LOVE this Caffeinated Boxer stamp from The Rabbit Hole Designs!!  He reminds me so much of my dog Slim.  Slim is not a boxer... well, he could be part boxer... we're not really sure what he is ... but here's a pic:

Handsome fellow... isn't he?  Anywho!  Back to the card!

This pup loves coffee, but he doesn't love mornings!  I had an alcohol inked panel that I created previously using some EVO Synthetic Paper from ETC Papers and decided to use the Sunburst stencil from Miss Ink to apply some Nuvo Glimmer Paste in a buttery yellow over it.  It's got a sheen, and it really helps to give the feeling of the summer sun in the desert South West... it is relentless and not for the faint of heart!

And those cacti, blooms, butterfly and the frame are all from A Jillian Vance Design.. cut from Copic friendly paper and colored in.

That's me for today!  Thanks for stopping and I hope you enjoyed it!  Now be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to find out how you can play along for chances to win some great prizes and/or just hop for some inspiration!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop Day 1 - Miss Ink Stamps

Happy Friday!  Even better today is the first day of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop!  Tons of inspiration and lots of Sponsors and chances to win some great prizes!  You will find the main hop post here where you can get all of the information you need to play along and link up!

Miss Ink Stamps is a Super Sponsor again and I've got some inspiration for you:

I used some great products from Miss Ink Stamps along with that fabulous Coffee Mug Card Die from Trinity Stamps!

I started by cutting the mug from some Kraft Paper and then used the new Latte Love stencil and Distress Oxides to add that beautiful pattern to the mug.

I used that beautiful coffee plant image from Brewtiful (one of my very favorite all time coffee themed sets) to accent it along with the sweet sentiment!

Easy peasy!  I just LOVE shaped cards don't you... and I am in love with that stencil for sure!!  #Idbuythatmug !

Now head on over to the Miss Ink Stamps Blog to see what my teamies have created for you today and then head on over to the CLC main hop post to see how you can play along and have chances to win some awesome prizes!

Thanks for stopping and be sure to come again soon!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop Day 1 - CASual Fridays Stamps!

Hello again!  I've got another one for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I've got one using some great stuff from Super Sponsor CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for you!

I used the new Scattered Showers stencil to apply some Deco Foil Transfer Gel and then foiled the background using some Amber Waterfall foil so that the raindrops look like Coffee drops!

I blended some distress inks onto the To Go Cup and then used the Chevron stencil to add some texture and pattern but in the same color so it was subtle.

I cut the Coffee word die form brown cardstock three times and stacked them together and then painted some Heidi Swapp Reactive Paint onto it; set it aside to dry, and then added some of the same foil to it.  I must not have had complete coverage because the foil came out a little bit distressed looking, but I LOVE the look so I'm not sorry!

Don't you LOVE the shine from that foil???

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Hot Coffee and cut it apart and then assembled it using the Coffee diecut piece in place of the stamped coffee word.

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog to see what everyone has created for you today!  And head on over to the main hop post over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers to see how you can play along for chances to win some great prizes!

And should you decide you must have something from the CAS-ual Fridays Shop, I have this for you for an additional 15% off of prices in the shop including any sale items you don't need a code for!

Thanks for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Spring/Summer 2021 Coffee Lovers Hop Day 1!

Well, a Woo!  And a Hoo!  It is time for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  We are celebrating with a week long hop full of inspiration with lots of sponsors and prizes!  You get chances to win some great stuff by linking up newly created coffee, tea or cocoa themed projects!  Check out the main hop post here for all of the details and to link up!

For my first card I've been doing some playing with my Gelli Printing Plate and some acrylics along with stencils and stamps.  Here's how I was inspired for this one:

I created the background including butterflies from the Gina K Love & Kindness stamp set on the Gelli Plate and then added a couple more butterflies by rolling a bit of paint onto the stamp.  After it was dry, I stamped the floral from the Friendship Blooms stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed with some Wow embossing powder.

I die cut the to go cup from Rubbernecker Stamps (one of my faves because of the size and that cool stir stick that comes with the set!).  I assembled it and stamped the sentiment from the Gina K Perfect Blend set.

I didn't want to cover up too much of that background so I cut the Heart Circle die from some vellum for a backdrop for the coffee cup.  Just a few sequins and done!

I had a LOT of fun playing with the Gelli Plate and I made a second background at the same time that I'll be using this week!  I'll be playing some more with the Gelli plate as well and if you really want some inspiration and ideas for using it, I've found a great account on IG for it and you can find it here!  Tania does some great quick videos with plenty of ideas of how to use your plate.

I have four cards for Day 1 so be sure to check those out too!

Now be sure to head on over to the CLC blog to check out how to play along!  I cannot wait to see what you create!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop Day 1 - Rubbernecker Stamps!

Welcome back!  I've got another one here for Day 1 of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop!  Rubbernecker Stamps is a sponsor and has offered up a $50 store credit for one lucky winner!  And there are a couple great coffee themed sets in the shop and I've used one of them here today along with a few other things! Here's how I was inspired with the new Cats In Cups set!

Don't you just love all these sweet kitties in cups!  I used all of them for this one because ... why not!

I stamped, cut and colored them and assembled the base with that awesome window die and then arranged them until I was happy with the look.  Then I stamped a few of the single flowers from the Heavenly Hydrangeas stamp set and added those here and there for a little extra.  The sentiment is a combination of one from the new set and I fussy cut the Coffee word from the previously released Coffee Lover stamp set.

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to see how you can play along!  You'll find tons of inspiration and lots of Sponsors and prizes and chances to win!  And don't forget to visit the Rubbernecker Blog to see what all of my Rubbernecker Teamies have created for your viewing pleasure!
