Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - August 2018!

Welcome to the August edition of the Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series!  AND it also happens to be the start of Paper Sweeties 6th Anniversary Celebration!  Lots of stuff going on all month, so if you're not already a member in the Paper Sweeties group on Facebook, you should definitely join it here!

Here's what I've got going on for the next couple of weeks:

August is a big celebration around here!  It's not only Paper Sweeties 6th Anniversary this month, but I've got LOTS of birthdays on my calendar!  So in celebration of all of it, I gave my planner pages a birthday theme... in Debbie's favorite color combo of course and I used some cute Doodlebug papers from various paper pads and some washi from my stash for fun!

I marked all of the birthday days with the balloons from the Celebrate Planner set.

The Stitched Tag #3 dies were perfect to cut out my presents with.  And I used the Get Your Craft on planner set to mark all of my important crafty dates!  (I think I'm purposely ignoring all of my chores this month!)

I invited my favorite Sweetie, Emma and she wore her prettiest polka dot dress and brought her best friend from the Sweeties Pets set.  Her party hat was stamped using the Birthday Banners stamps and dies.

The Cupcake Banner from the Birthday Banners set was the perfect decoration for this birthday page!  And then there's this:

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - August 2017!

It's time for the August Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series!  This time I'm decorating my Birthday Week of my planner.  Yup!  I share a birthday month with Paper Sweeties!  Pretty cool!   I'm a little older than 5 though... like... x10 or thereabouts.... lol!

You know I love so many colors and I love plaid so I decided to use a rainbow plaid for my base.  And I hardly ever use purple, but it just seemed right to accentuate the purple with some glitter paper and banners from the Birthday Banners Sweet Cuts.

Can you tell which day is my birthday?  Hmm... I wonder...lol!  That's usually my vision of my birthday and I have to tell you this time it was pretty close... my friends and family really made me feel special and even my day at work was pretty good...

You'll notice I didn't have any chores added to my planner for the week... I'm sure I did a few, but I didn't allow them in my planner because I decided to only add things I love doing... so .. cake... coffee... party...blogging/crafting...  I think the only thing that might be missing is a dog... and I definitely did sit on the couch with my dog(s) last week!

The glitter paper banners were so dark, I moved some of that purple to the bottom of the page using the stitched banners from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts.

Have you gotten your "Thank You" freebie for the Paper Sweeties Birthday Month of August?  I have a feeling you'll be getting it soon because New Release Sneak Peeks start tomorrow!  Just spend $25 in the shop and receive the stamp set free and spend another $25 and get the matching die!   And it's soooo sweet!

I used it along with the balloon stamp and die from the Party Time Stamp and Die sets and a couple others you'll be seeing over the next few days...

I can't keep calm... It's My Birthday!!  And don't worry... I celebrate for at least a week if not a month so you can still say it... :)  I LOVE to mask the sentiment from the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee stamp set along with this cute little girl from the Checklist stamp set to make announcements in my planner... so fun!

Did I go overboard?  If I did it's nothing new...lol!

Paper Sweeties Challenge - August 2017 Anything Goes!

Hip Hip Hooray is right!  Not only is it time for a new challenge over at Paper Sweeties, but it's also time for a Birthday Celebration!!  That's right... August is the 5th birthday of Paper Sweeties!  You can read all about Debbie's journey here if you need some inspiration to just do what your heart says you should do!

And here is what I've made for you today:

I don't know why it took me so long to realize that the Window Sweet Cut makes a great layering die also!  I used it here to frame my cake... mmmm.... cake.... oh sorry!  Was distracted for a minute...

I'm celebrating with some cake... because I mean... what's a birthday without cake??  I've used the cake from the Party Time Stamp and Sweet Cuts sets and stamped an extra of the top of the cake to cut out some of those same flowers to embellish my table.  I accented the center of my flowers with some glittery gel pen and liquid glass.  I also used the Rectangle Scallop Frame Sweet Cuts to cut a little bit of frosting decoration for my cake.  The more frosting the better in my opinion!

The Birthday Banners Stamps and Sweet Cuts ... what can I say... so much fun!  I also may or may not have used some glitter gel pens on them and also possibly on the sentiment... speaking of the sentiment....

Well, that's cool isn't it?

Well, of course I scattered around a few Marshmallow Sequins for good measure!
