Cute Critters - Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #8

Welcome back!  It's the first of the month and it's time for a new challenge over at Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!

This month's sponsor is Trinity Stamps and the theme is Coffee and Cute Critters!  Here's how I was inspired:

I combined two stamp sets for this one... I love the adorable little meeces in the Mouse House stamp set and I paired it with the retired Gingerbread House to dress them up for Christmas!

I started with a foiled gel print in green... I layered a few panes including that awesome Nested Loops Rectangle from Rubbernecker Stamps.  I stamped, die cut and colored all of my images and arranged them in the scene.  And those little itty bitty coffee cups were gifted to me by a friend and I can't tell you how many times they've been perfect for adding some caffeine to a project!  Here, my cute mice are having coffee and cookies!

And I built my sentiment using the fabulous Marshmallow Alphabet from Trinity and a sentiment from a retired Sweet Pea Designs coffee set.

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you'll come again soon! And be sure to head on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog to see what everyone has created for you this month and to link up!

2020 25 Days of Christmas Tags - A Jillian Vance Design!

Welcome back!  I'm excited today because over at A Jillian Vance Design we're playing along with Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  You can find all of the tags created at her blog, In My Creative Opinion, here!

I started with the Cozy Cottage Birdhouse Die Set and the Sweet Gingerbread Add On Die set as my tag.  I cut the snowy roofline and the base from white glitter cardstock.  I used a hole punch to create a hole for the baker's twine at the top.  Then I cut the string of lights from the Sam E Snowman die set and colored the bulbs with my Copics and attached it to the house and added some Glossy Accents.

I added the tree and wreath from the Gingerbread set and then put together the cutie patootie Hootie The Owl including his Santa Hat.  And finally the sentiment from the Owl Occasions set.  I decided this would be a cute tag for a holiday thank you.

All that was left to do was add the twine and done!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Be sure to head on over to Tracey's blog and check out today's post featuring all my teamies from A Jillian Vance Design!  And then head over to the main 25 Days of Christmas Tags blog post to see how you can play along for chances to win some awesome prizes from these sponsors:

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Snowman Fun With Trinity Stamps!

Excited to be guesting up on the Trinity Blog one more time this month!  Today I've used the new Tall Shaker Dome Die Set along with the adorable Snowman Border Builder die set to create this little snow globe scene!

I love how this Dome die is tall and leaves a bit more room to do some really cool stuff.. it includes some sweet snow landscapes so it was easy to create a few layers of snowy hills.

I love to use white glitter paper for my snowy bits on a card... I don't have snow where I am here in Sunny AZ, however I do hail from the Western NY area (think Buffalo) so I know how pretty snow can be when it sparkles in the sun!  (If only it wasn't also SO cold!).  I cut the dome and base pieces from gold metallic mirror cardstock and the inside back layer from some cloud design paper.

I added the buildings, tree, and fence that come in the Dome set way up on the hill and in front... a couple of those adorable snow dudes!  I love these guys!!  I always cut extra parts/pieces when I cut them and have them all saved in a little clear bag for future use.  My fine tweezers come in so handy for all of these small die cut pieces.

I couldn't help but add a little string of lights from the Gingerbread House set.  I LOVE these lights...lol!  I should just stamp and die cut hundreds of them to add to every card I make!  I added little dots of Glossy Accents to each bulb.

Another must have in my craft room is the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini Die Set... used alone or with the included background piece and with or without the coordinating stamp set... it's a fantastic set!

I finished it off with some gold/white twine, a snowflake from the I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas Embellishment Mix and my new very favorite sequins, Soapy Bubbles (very few cards make it out of my craft room these days without a few of these on it).

I'm playing along with Anything Goes over at Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge!  Also playing along at Double Trouble with Bring On The Glitz and Snowmen and Cupcake Inspirations Snowman Challenge!  Also playing along again at the Simon Says Stamps IG Challenge #SSSIGCHALLENGE!

So thank you so much for visiting me here today!!  And huge thanks to the ladies at Trinity for having me this month!  I've had so much fun and they've been so great to create with!  Thank you thank you!!

Come back soon!

Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop

I am honored to be guesting with Trinity Stamps for the Winter Release!  It's an awesome release and so excited I got to play with these great products!  You should have come here from the uber talented Courtney Kreeber's place!   Hop and comment all along the way for your chance to win a $25 gift code to the Trinity Shop!  You have until Friday, November 7th at 11:59pm to comment and the winner will be announced on the Trinity Blog on the 8th!

Here's how I was inspired:

Included in the release are some fantastic Slimline dies... I've used one of them on a couple of my projects today, including this one along with the adorable images from the Gingerbread House Stamps and Dies and the Merry Christmas Dies.  You can find all of these new products here!

O M Garsh!!  Adorable images in the Gingerbread House set... it was so fun to put this card together!  I absolutely love those lights... I think they may be my favorite.  This sweet bird has baked some cookies and is expecting some company!

And here is her friend!  They're going to celebrate the holidays together and she brought a gift and of course she showed up with a couple lattes!  (Those are from the Frappy Camper stamp set...lol!  You knew I'd have some coffee here didn't you?)

Love, love the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini Dies!  It's a three die set, with the words, the outline and a little banner that I didn't use here, but is fantastic for the little sentiments in the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini stamp set!

And the Slimline Series: Stitched Dies... can't say enough!  The 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" size is so fun to have a little extra room.  I created a shaker from mine using a beautiful glitter mix from Trinity.

I'm linking this one up to Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge!  You should check it out!

I loved playing with the Slimline dies so much I used them again for this one!  I used it along with the Snowman Border Builder.  SUCH a fun set!!

I used the hill die in the set with white glitter paper to create my snowy ground.  Then I just cut all my pieces out of a few different colors and some from glitter paper and started mixing and matching pieces.  My fine tweezers made this so much more fun and easy!

So cute, right?!  The dies to cut those tiny snowflakes were also in the set and the larger snowflakes are embellishments available in the Trinity shop in the I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas mix.

And I used the Merry dies as my sentiment for this one... sweet and simple!

I cut lots of extras from the Snowman Border Builder because I knew I'd want to use them again and again.  I'll store them in little clear envelopes... but I didn't put them away quite yet... 'cause I needed some for this:

Have you seen the new Layered Pine stencils???  I used them for the background here and I LOVE them!  I varied my colors a bit and added a few of just the bottom layer in the background... of my background...lol!

And wasn't it just the perfect backdrop for my Frappy Camper?  I decided to dress it up for Christmas this time around.  I paper pieced the red and colored its belt black.  I used the Coffee Cup from Seasonal Sweetheart for a vent pipe again and added one of the little hats from the new Gingerbread House set.  I decided to make it a shaker with those adorable little Frappe sequins!  Perfect, right?  And those lights from the Gingerbread House set were perfect to decorate the camper!

And some of those adorable snowmen joined the party and they've got little frappes themselves!  Those sequins were the perfect size... although I think I'd need a larger cup than that.

I used the Christmas without the outline for this one cut in glitter paper and stacked and the Frappy is from the Frappy Camper Perking Spot set.  I just added some white Nuvo drops all around for a light snowfall and a trio of sequins from the Soapy Bubbles mix of sequins.  (my new favorite!)

I'm playing along with this one over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that started today and continues through next Friday!  Trinity Stamps is a sponsor for the hop and you can check out the hop rules and link up at the main post here!

Now you should make your way over to the wonderfully creative Emelie Hessler's place and see what she's created for you today!
