Happy Birthday Grrrrlfriend! - Miss Ink Stamps

I'm using some stencils today for a fun mid mod/Lisa Frank kind of card...lol!

I started by adding Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors using the Art Deco Stencil.   Then I added the foliage using the Artsy Abstracts stencils and Black Soot ink.  I used Pixie Tape to mask any areas and there are intricate cuts in the stencil so you'll want to use Pixie Spray to hold it in place.

Then I used the Tiger Portrait stencil set for the tiger and fussy cut it out.  I popped the Postage frame up over it and tucked the tiger into the corner of the frame.

Finally I used the Slim's Whims stamp set and Everyday Sentiments.

Miss Ink Stamps - A Fine Art

Welcome back!  I had a play with the A2 Masking Stencil set again!  This time I used it along with the Art Deco Stencil for a fun rainbow background.

 I finished it off with some images and a sentiment from the Blooming Brushes set.  I kept all of the colors soft and this time I've included both the Copic colors and Distress Oxide colors that I used.

Have A Boo-tiful Day - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  I've got a fun Halloween card for you today!  These adorable Boo Crew critters are among my faves!  I love how they are all dressed up as ghosts.

And that fabulous spooky background is from the set too!  And I filled in with the pumpkin from the set and some leaves and acorns from the Oh Nuts set and the fun banner from Springtime Banners.

I guess I'm pretty fully into Fall these days!

Miss Ink Stamps - Hope

Hello!  Welcome back!  Today I'm sharing this one using the beautiful Fall Bouquet stamp set from Miss Ink!

I stamped the floral and stems onto mixed media paper with Versamark and embossed it with Wow Gold Embossing Powder.  Then I colored it using my watercolor pencils and a water brush.  I fussy cut both out when they were dry.

For the background, I blended Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo Distress Inks onto the panel and then applied more Spiced Marmalade through the Art Deco Stencil.  Then I splattered some Heidi Swapp Color Shine over it with a paint brush.

Finally I popped the images onto the base after stamping one of the sentiments from the Fall Bouquet set directly onto the background using some Color Fuse Ink.
