2020 25 Days of Christmas Tags - A Jillian Vance Design!

Welcome back!  I'm excited today because over at A Jillian Vance Design we're playing along with Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!  You can find all of the tags created at her blog, In My Creative Opinion, here!

I started with the Cozy Cottage Birdhouse Die Set and the Sweet Gingerbread Add On Die set as my tag.  I cut the snowy roofline and the base from white glitter cardstock.  I used a hole punch to create a hole for the baker's twine at the top.  Then I cut the string of lights from the Sam E Snowman die set and colored the bulbs with my Copics and attached it to the house and added some Glossy Accents.

I added the tree and wreath from the Gingerbread set and then put together the cutie patootie Hootie The Owl including his Santa Hat.  And finally the sentiment from the Owl Occasions set.  I decided this would be a cute tag for a holiday thank you.

All that was left to do was add the twine and done!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Be sure to head on over to Tracey's blog and check out today's post featuring all my teamies from A Jillian Vance Design!  And then head over to the main 25 Days of Christmas Tags blog post to see how you can play along for chances to win some awesome prizes from these sponsors:

25 Days of Christmas Tags with A Jillian Vance Design!

It's A Jillian Vance Design's turn over at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Event!  It's a month long celebration of the Christmas Tag!  Lots of sponsors are taking turns on the blog and sharing tags made with their products.  You can have chances to win prizes by commenting or playing along!  To play along just choose a tag from any of the Sponsor posts that inspires you and create yours with inspiration from that.  Link it up and share whose tag you were inspired by and from what day!

Here's mine for today:

I started with the Minnie Pearl Tag die set and cut both the larger and smaller tag from Kraft.  Then I stamped snowflakes onto the large tag from the Let It Snow and Jingle All The Way stamp sets in Versamark and embossed with Wow Gold Embossing Powder.  I added some Nuvo drops in white randomly in between the gold snowflakes because I knew I wanted to stamp my sentiment from Jingle All The Way in white onto the smaller tag and it would help to bring the two together.

And this Jingle Bell die set!!  You need this in your life!  I used the largest of the bells cut from gold foiled paper.  I also cut a couple branches from the Fresh Cut Pine die set and layered it all together.  While trying to decide on glitter Jingle Bells or foil Jingle Bells, I ended up with some glittery stars that made a nice little embellishment and some extra bows.  All it took was some baker's twine with gold in it to finish it off!

So that's me!  Hope you enjoyed it!  Be sure to head on over to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags post for today and check out what everyone else has created with some beautiful A Jillian Vance Design products!  Hope you'll play along and can't wait to see how you were inspired!

Check out all of these sponsors!

And over at A Jillian Vance Design there is a huge sale going on!  Don't miss out!!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

Did you know that the 25 Days of Christmas Tags is going on right now?  And CAS-ual Fridays is a sponsor and today it's our turn to share some Holiday tag inspiration using some of our favorite CAS-ual Fridays products!

Here's how I was inspired:

The Scallop Tag Fri-Dies are my favorite all time tag dies!  The large one is a fantastic size and leaves lots of room for embellishing!  I cut it out of watercolor paper and stamped various snowflakes from the Snowy Sayings stamp set with Versamark and heat embossed in white and then blended some blue and purple Distress Oxides over them.  I wiped off the embossed snowflakes with a dry paper towel and then sprayed the tag using some water mixed with Inkon3 Liquid Pixie Dust.

I stacked a purple and white die cut "Snow" from the Snow Fri-Dies together.  Next, I stamped the "Let it" from the Dashing stamp set onto a strip of white cardstock and trimmed it to the shape of the tag.  Then I placed the Snow diecut underneath it to complete the sentiment.  I just added a few sequins and a snowflake from the Funky Flakes Fri-Dies and some blue and purple ribbon.

I'm playing along with the Simon Says Challenge on IG!  It's all about Happy Holidays!

And did you know that CAS-ual Fridays has 50% off of some retiring items??  You can find those here!

And even better, I have this for you:

Thanks so much for stopping and I hope you enjoyed your visit!  Now be sure to hop on over to today's post at the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and you can check out all of the details including how you could win one of the many sponsor prizes being offered at the main 25 Days of Christmas Tags post right here!  Check out all of the sponsors!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - CAS-ual Fridays!

So excited to be participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags along with my CAS-ual Fridays teamies!   CAS-ual Fridays is one of the many sponsors for this awesome event.  There are lots of ways to be eligible for some fantastic random drawn prizes which include commenting and playing along!  Check out Tracey's main post here to find out all of the ways you could have a chance to win!

AND be sure to read to the bottom of the post for a special sale and another chance to win!

Today I've used the Scallop Tag Fri-Dies along with this month's newly released Naughty-isms Stamp Set and Naughty Fri-Dies.

I created a Santa Suit for my tag by cutting two of the largest tags in the set.. one in red and one in white.  I used the red as my base and started with a thin strip of white glitter tape down the middle.  Next I cut the top and bottom off of the white tag and attached the pieces to the red tag and covered the ends of the glitter strip.  Then I cut a strip of black cardstock the width of the tag and added it for a belt and a simple square die cut from gold foiled paper for a belt buckle.  I added some acrylic dots as  buttons.

When I had the backdrop all done, I cut the Naughty or Nice sentiment once from black glitter paper and twice from black cardstock so I could stack them together.  Then I stamped the remaining part of the sentiment from the stamp set onto black cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I fussy cut it out so it would only take up a little space and moved it around on the tag until I settled on where it would go.  I popped it up and then I came across those sweet little Santa hat embellishments in my stash which fit perfectly on the loopty loop for the Nice part of the die cut!  Fun right??

AND!  Michele has a special stamp set for you!   It's called Most Wonderful.. and it is! Take a look at this beauty!

So pretty right??  And I created a quick tag using this special set because I couldn't help myself!  So I'm playing along with 25 Days of Christmas Tags too!

I was inspired for this one by Jane Taylor's beautiful tag from Day 8 here!  I knew this beautiful tag design would be perfect with this set!  That gorgeous blue evening sky background and the pretty snow mounds at the bottom!  I didn't have room for the snow mounds that Jane made, but I had already found a cool way to create them... so I made a second tag... but you'll have to wait until Thursday to see that one...lol!

So here are the details regarding this stamp set!

It will be available for purchase for $6.50 or you can get it free with a qualifying order of $50 placed November 20-26th!  Your order must total at least $50 after discounts and shipping.  No code is needed-it will automatically be added to your order when it ships!  On the 27th, the set will be offered in the shop for $7.99!  You can find this set here!  To top it all off... all Christmas and Hanukkah sets are on sale now and you can find some great deals on retiring products too!

Paper Sweeties November 2018 Release Sneak Peeks

Welcome to Sneak Peeks for the November Release over at Paper Sweeties!  We're sharing some projects with the new Merry Sentiment Set... LOVE this set so much!  It's a fun set of single holiday words and I'm going to be using it A LOT!

I've made a couple tags and I'm playing along with 25 Days of Christmas Tags over at Tracey McNeely's Blog!  You should definitely check this one out!  This challenge is a great source of inspiration and runs for almost the whole month of November with tons of sponsors and tons of prizes!... well... 25 Days anyway..lol!  Just choose from any one of the designer makes from any one of those days and let it inspire you to create something, link up and make sure you mention which designer's tag inspired your creation!  You can also win by commenting on any and all of the posts!  A full list of rules and how to gain chances to win are in the main blog post here!

I was inspired by one of Tracey's tags she created for Day 1!  I pretty much copied it because I loved it so much and knew it would be perfect with this new sentiment set!

This one is very similar with a few more of the fun words and I had to add a snowflake sweet cut to the top of the tag because when I tied my ribbon I tied it too tight and ripped through the hole!...lol!  Yup... leave it to me!

Tracey has a fantastic video on her Day 1 post as to how she created her tag so I'll leave my post short and simple and you can watch her video here!  And be sure to leave her some love!

Be sure to check out what my Paper Sweeties Teamies have created for today:

And Paper Sweeties is a sponsor for the event as well!

25 Days of Christmas Tags Inspiration - Tenia Nelson

If you've never heard of the awesome annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags that goes on over at Tracey McNeely's In My Creative Opinion Blog then you are gonna thank me!  It's a month long fountain of inspiration with tons of sponsors and tons of designers sharing some fabulous creations with lots of chances to win prizes!

I was inspired for this one by Tenia Nelson's beautiful tag for Day 3... the beautiful non-traditional colors (although mine are different, they are nontraditional), the awesome tree ring background (although mine is hard to see...lol), and the gold on black sentiment all caught my attention.

I started by coloring up this beautiful digital image from the Christmas Cheer set from Graciellie Design.  It is so much fun to color Gracie's images.  They have enough detail to make them beautiful even with a quick color but enough space to make them your own when you wish to.  I cut it out and added a little glitter and some liquid glass.

I cut the largest Scallop Tag from Cas-ual Fridays and ink blended it with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac distress inks.  Next I used the Tree Rings stencil from Newton's Nook to apply some Decofoil Transfer Gel and set it aside to dry.  Once it was dry, I ran it through my Minc machine with some gorgeous Gina K Designs Gold Sequins foil (my fave!).  I popped up my image and added it to the tag.

Then instead of stamping and embossing my sentiment, I decided to use the Merry word die from the CAS-ual Fridays Merry Christmas Fri-Dies and cut it from gold glitter paper and added it to a black banner cut with a CDD Banner Die.  I didn't want to cover up that gorgeous digi so I attached the Merry at an angle and tucked the banner underneath the image.  A few gold sequins and some pretty purple ribbon.

Thanks for stopping!  You should definitely check out this challenge over at the In My Creative Opinion Blog!  And please do check out Tenia's beautiful creation here!  Then hop around and get inspired and maybe even play along!

And I'm also playing along with the Monday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp which is Create Your Own Background!  That I did!  Even if it is just peeking out here and there...lol!

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018 - Paper Sweeties!

You may or may not be familiar with Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  Each year in November, this event begins and there are tons of sponsors and prizes and lots of fun and inspiration!  Each day a sponsor is featured on the blog and today it's Paper Sweeties turn!

Paper Sweeties is a sponsor for this event and is offering up a $25 gift certificate to one lucky winner!   There are lots of ways to gain chances to win prizes... you can comment at Tracey's blog and along the way when you hop and see what each of the sponsors' design teams have created for you and you can play along-create a tag inspired by one that you see along the way while you hop and link up!  You can check out all of the ways to win and the rules at Tracey's In My Creative Opinion blog post here!

Now.. let's see what I've created for you today:

If you come here often you know that I love coffee, coffee cups, cocoa, even tea sometimes.. I make sun tea on a regular basis.  I mean.. I live in Arizona so there is lots of energy for said beverage!  It will be no surprise to you the theme I used for my tags... although it may surprise you that it's not coffee...lol!

I started with the tag from the For You Sweet Cuts.  It's a great sized stitched tag, perfect on a card or by itself.  I added some Nuvo drops in red, green and white in a diagonal pattern across the tag.  Then I stamped, die cut and colored the cups from the You Warm My Heart stamp set.

I added some "marshmallows" to the cocoa with some white Nuvo drops and added the cups to the edge of the tag using varying thicknesses of popup tape.

I stamped, colored and cut the holly from the Meet Me Under The Mistletoe set and then I built my sentiment... I stamped the Fa La La in Versamark and heat embossed it... that's a little sneaky peek for you... and then I stamped the "but first" from part of a sentiment from the But First, Coffee stamp set and the Cocoa is from the same set.

I decided another in some non-traditional colors was in order:

I love it in these colors!  Quite cool.. makes me feel like I might need some hot cocoa!

And those cups... they're sweet in any color!  I love my little marshmallows!

Oh my... I think you're gonna love what's coming in this month's release....

Here's another peek at both!

I'm playing along with the Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge which is always Anything Goes with an optional twist!  This week's twist is Hot Beverage!

Hope I've inspired you!  And maybe you can use something here to create and link up your own tag!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to check out what all of my teamies have created for your viewing pleasure today... there is a lot of awesome to be seen!

And take a look at this!

These are the sponsors!  Pretty cool, huh??  Good luck!
