I used a flower from Mon Ami which isn't available any more!  We do have the Flower Duo though and that would make a great substitute for this one!

And Sassy Smiles duo is always great for a fun sentiment!

CAS-ual Fridays Stencil Release - Partly Cloudy Stencil

Welcome back for more CAS-ual Fridays New Release!  Today we're sharing with you projects made with the new Partly Cloudy Stencil!

I created the rainbows by doing all of the yellow first, moving the stencil around the panel.  I washed it off and then did the pink, overlapping some of the yellow.  I washed it off one more time and went back around with the yellow.  It was super easy to line them up.  I did cover some of the other openings in the stencil just to be sure... I tend to get messy.

I blended a sun and fussy cut it out and then stamped the flowers from the Sassy Smiles Duo stamp set in the pink, yellow and an orange melon color.  Then I popped the sun and die cut the Smile word and background and popped that up too.  Finally I stamped and heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set and popped it up underneath the word die.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it!  Now be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog and see what everyone has created for you today!

Be sure to come again tomorrow for more New Release Inspiration!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release Day 4 - Flowery Background!

Welcome to our last day of CAS-ual Fridays Release Inspiration!  Today we're sharing projects with the new Flowery Background!

I decided to use mine with my gel plate and I got some really cool prints with it.  This was the one that showed the stamp the best so I'm using it today, but I'll be sharing the others this month!  And with these cheery colors, the Smile die and sentiment from the Sassy Smiles Duos was perfect!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you enjoyed it!  Now be sure to get over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to see what everyone else has created for you!

And should you feel like shopping, I have this for you:

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release Day 4 - Swirls Stencil (With a Smile Duo)

Welcome to the last day of New Release with CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  Today we're sharing the new Swirls stencil and I've used it today with lots of previously released stamps and dies!

The pretty dotted swirls are perfect to create a cool pattern or here I used them as flight trails from my dragonfly!

I used the Pinked Slimline Dies and blended on some Distress Inks and then used the blue and the previously released Bubbly Stencil over it.  Then I added some purple through the smallest swirl on the Swirls Stencil and a little clear texture paste over that.

The die and sentiment from the Sassy Smiles Duo were just right to finish it off.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and if you see anything you need I have this for you:

Now be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog to see what everyone has created and find out how you can win some stuff!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release - Sassy Smiles Duo and Flowerburst Stencil

Welcome back!  It's Day 2 of CAS-ual Fridays New Release and today we're sharing inspiration using the new Sassy Smiles Duo and Flowerburst Stencil!  I decided do play with some alcohol inks for this slimline made with the Pinked Slimline dies!

I started by cutting a panel of EVO Synthetic Paper using the stitched die from the slimline set.  Then I dropped some alcohol ink in pinks and oranges and blending solution and moved them around with the hand blowers.  After it was dry but some spots were still tacky, I used some foil scraps to add gold veins and specks to the panel.  Then I used the new Flowerburst Stencil and and some Neon Pink Glitter Gel.  I added the flowers towards the bottom of the panel and let it dry and then covered the rest of the slimline.  Finaly after that was dry, I added a few gold flowers using the stencil here and there between the glitter flowers.

I added a thin layer of raspberry cardstock to the alcohol panel about 1/8" larger than the alcohol ink panel and then cut the pinked layer from white and adhered the three panels together.  I cut the Smile die from pink glitter paper and the background layer from orange.  Then I popped it up onto the card and added some Glossy Accents to it.  Stamped the sentiment and cut it into a strip and popped that up as well.

And that's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your visit and you'll come again soon!  If you've seen something you must have, I have this for you:
