Fall/Winter 2021 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - CASual Fridays Stamps

Woo and a Hoo!  It's Day 1 of the 2021 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  The hop runs through Friday, November 19th with over 50 Sponsors and tons of prizes!  Just link up over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog here with your Coffee, Tea, or Cocoa themed project!  And while you're there hop a bit and leave some love for the awesome companies that are so generous and sponsor the hop!

My first project for today is a little taste of all of the caffeinated loveliness available over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  Here's how I was inspired:

Super Sponsor CAS-ual Fridays has tons of awesome coffee themed products in the shop!  For this one I created a background on my gel press using the Chunky Chevron stencil!

And the To Go Cup die set is fabulous and there are tons of great Coffee sentiment sets like the Coffee Talk set I used for this one!  And I used the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup die set in place of the stamp.

I cut some of the 4 Petals flower dies out of an additional gel press print and embellished with them with some acrylic flowers for the centers.

Be sure to check out Super Sponsor CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and their plethora of Coffee themed stamps and dies!  (There are a lot!)

I’m also playing along over at the special coffee themed challenge at Double Trouble Challenge Blog De Ja Brew!  If you are playing along with the CLC Hop be sure to check out this one too for more chances to win!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you’ll come again soon!

Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer 2021 Blog Hop Day 1 - CASual Fridays Stamps!

Hello again!  I've got another one for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I've got one using some great stuff from Super Sponsor CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for you!

I used the new Scattered Showers stencil to apply some Deco Foil Transfer Gel and then foiled the background using some Amber Waterfall foil so that the raindrops look like Coffee drops!

I blended some distress inks onto the To Go Cup and then used the Chevron stencil to add some texture and pattern but in the same color so it was subtle.

I cut the Coffee word die form brown cardstock three times and stacked them together and then painted some Heidi Swapp Reactive Paint onto it; set it aside to dry, and then added some of the same foil to it.  I must not have had complete coverage because the foil came out a little bit distressed looking, but I LOVE the look so I'm not sorry!

Don't you LOVE the shine from that foil???

Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Hot Coffee and cut it apart and then assembled it using the Coffee diecut piece in place of the stamped coffee word.

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog to see what everyone has created for you today!  And head on over to the main hop post over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers to see how you can play along for chances to win some great prizes!

And should you decide you must have something from the CAS-ual Fridays Shop, I have this for you for an additional 15% off of prices in the shop including any sale items you don't need a code for!

Thanks for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

CAS-ual Fridays Release Day 2 - Everyday Dragonflies

Welcome to Day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release!  Today we're showing off the new Everyday Dragonflies and Dragonflies Fri-Dies!  I paired them with the To Go Cup because... well... I love coffee and today is National Coffee Day!

I started with a base of purple and cut the pinked die from white cardstock and another panel from white using the smaller stitched layer.  I blended some Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Broken China, and Wilted Violet.  I splattered some water over it and then dabbed it dry.

I stamped a few dragonflies using Grape Crush Catherine Pooler Ink on the upper half of the card as well as some hearts from the Somebunny set.  I filled in the dragonflies' bodies and the hearts with some pink and purple Wink of Stella markers.

I stamped the dragonfly again using the Be Mine CP Ink along with Grape Crush and die cut it out.

Finally I cut all of the pieces of the To Go Cup and assembled it, placing the die cut dragonfly on the wrap.  I popped the cup onto the bottom half of the slimline background; stamped one of the sentiments from the dragonflies set onto a banner from the Pinked die set and popped it up onto the card.  Finally I added some Glossy Accents to the dragonfly bodies and hearts on the background as well as a few sequins.

That's me for today!  Now be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog and see what everyone else has created for you today and how you could win a gift code to the shop!

And if you see anything here that you just must have, I have this for you!

AND CAS-ual Fridays is a sponsor for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers' National Coffee Day Hop!  So be sure to check that post out today too for another chance to win!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - Crafting of Hue Sponsorship-Coffee!

Happy weekend!  This weekend, CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is sponsoring over at the Crafting of Hue Facebook Group and we're showing off some of the awesome Coffee themed products from the shop and there's a sale!

Did you know that CAS-ual Fridays carries some fabulous Wow products in the shop now?!  Today, I used one of the Changers powders to give my background some sparkle and texture.  I started by stenciling on the background using the By The Beans stencil using those pretty Catherine Pooler Inks.  Then I added texture paste after wiping off the stencil.

I added some of the Wow Changers Lightening Effects "Texture" powder... I LOVE the effect.  The Changers are cool because you can add them to any of your other powders to change them up, but you can also use them all on their own.  This one gave a nice sugary look and feel... very cool!

I colored up the pretty flower from Mon Ami in some matching rainbow colors and added it to my To Go Cup.  And the sentiment is from Mon Ami also... and I'm sending this one to someone quite awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed your visit.  All the Coffee themed products in the shop are on sale at 20% off (no code needed) AND you can use my code if you'd like (or any of the girls' codes) to get an additional 15% off or 15% off the items that aren't on sale!  Just use code Lisasentme for the 15%!

Coffee Date With Lisa and Jean!

So excited because today I have a Coffee Date up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog with my good friend Jean Chaney!  We decided we would both use this Coffee Cup Fold-It Die from Stamps of Life along with any Art Impressions Stamp Set of our choosing!

Here's how I was inspired:

I was so very excited when I found this adorable pup dressed in a bunny outfit on the Howl-oween Stamp Set from Art Impressions.  Immediately I knew I wanted to make a cute Spring themed card with a grumpy sentiment.

Love this coffee cup shaped card from TSOL... it's three pieces... the outline cuts a card base from a folded piece of paper (or just cut it out as an outline if you aren't making a coffee cup shaped card) and then I just cut the cup from three different papers... white, kraft and the pink polka.  It has strategically placed cuts so that with just an easy snip here and there it's so easy to paper piece it.  And the circle for the front is a separate die.  Aren't those Lawn Fawn papers so pretty??

He's SO cute, isn't he?  You know how I love to make a Coffee card using sets that aren't necessarily coffee themed.  And with that look on his face, I went right for this sentiment on the Caffeinated Boxer stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs!

And that's me for today!  Hope you'll give a visit over at the CLC to meet Jean and then hop on over to her blog to get the details on her amazing project!

Thanks for stopping and hope you come again soon!

CAS-ual Fridays 7 Years Release - Coffee!!

Welcome to the last day of the CAS-ual Fridays 7th Anniversary Release AND the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop starts today so we've got a great Crossover Event for you (if you watch the Chicago shows you might giggle).. or not... but I am so there's that.

CAS-ual Fridays is a Sponsor for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and we've got TWO new caffeinated sets to show off to you today!

For this one I've used the awesome new Cup Refills set for the sentiment and the adorable bean border was created using a little trio of beans from the Coffee Days stamp set along with the previously released To Go Cup Fri-Dies.  All of the Coffee goodies new and old are available here

Love the new Cup Refills set!!  It's a whole bunch of fantastic and sassy sentiments to add to your collection.

I created this background and my next with some Ken Oliver Color Bursts and the Starlequin Stencil.

And this is the sentiment in the Coffee Days set!  Awesome, right??  I used the Bubble Box dies and heat embossed the sentiment onto the black background in white.  I cut two of the smaller Coffee Cup Fri-Dies and threw in a few sequins in black.  So fun!  There are also a couple cups in the set.

I'm playing along over at Simon Says Stamps Anything Goes Challenge!  I'm also linking up over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Check out the main post here for hop rules and all the info you need to play along!

AND not only is CAS-ual Fridays a sponsor and offering a prize for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, but be sure to comment on today's post up on the CAS-ual Fridays blog and the posts from all release days for more chances to win free stuff!  And there's a sale going on right now on all Coffee and Tea related products (not including the brand new release).

Peace, Love, Coffee and Color Burst

Welcome back!  I'm sharing with you today a card I made using some of my very favorite CAS-ual Fridays products!  I started with a background I created using some Ken Oliver Colorbursts and the Modern Petals stencil.  (I have a short photo tutorial here if you didn't catch it the first time around).  I love to get out my colorbursts and stencils and play and make a bunch at one time so when I'm ready to use them, they're ready for me!

Then of course... the coffee cup... I love the To Go Cup Fri-Dies available in the shop... the size is fantastic to be the star of the show on a card... and since coffee is the star of most of my mornings... it's perfect!  And that beautiful fox from the Foxy stamp set... perfect for my coffee wrap that I cut from Copic Friendly paper.

I love the 4 Petal Fri-Dies!!  Handy for all kinds of flowers... I cut these from red cardstock and covered them with some Wow Vintage Candy Cane embossing powder.  Added a few branches from the Casual Trees Fri-Dies and my favorite sentiment from Peace, Love and Coffee as well as the additional Peace sign... both stamped in Versamark on black cardstock and embossed with Wow Opaque Bright White powder.

I love how bold it is, yet somehow (to me anyway) it still evokes peaceful thoughts... I think it's that beautiful quiet fox....

I hope you enjoyed your stop!  And did you know now is a good time to get some of your favorite sets that you've been wanting but just haven't gotten yet?  There are some products in the shop that are retiring and are 25% off right now!  Once they're gone they are gone!  They're making room for some awesome new products so get what you've been wanting before it's too late and at a great price!

And here's this for you as well:

And you don't have to use mine!  Use the code for whichever Girl Friday inspires you!

Come back again soon for more inspiration!
