Fall/Winter 2021 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - CASual Fridays Stamps

My first project for today is a little taste of all of the caffeinated loveliness available over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  Here's how I was inspired:

Super Sponsor CAS-ual Fridays has tons of awesome coffee themed products in the shop!  For this one I created a background on my gel press using the Chunky Chevron stencil!

And the To Go Cup die set is fabulous and there are tons of great Coffee sentiment sets like the Coffee Talk set I used for this one!  And I used the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup die set in place of the stamp.

I cut some of the 4 Petals flower dies out of an additional gel press print and embellished with them with some acrylic flowers for the centers.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release Day 3 - Big Thanks Duo!

For Day 3 of the New Release over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps we are sharing the new Big Thanks Duo!

I blended inks in yellows and oranges through the Chunky Chevron Stencil for the background.  I cut the Thanks from the duo set from brown glitter paper and the background from white cardstock; adhered them together and popped them up on the background and chose one of the sentiments included in the set.  Then the flowers from Flower Duo were perfect in yellow and tucked behind.

You could easily insert other shapes or nothing for a different look...

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Release Day 3 - Chunky Chevron and Bubbly Stencils

 

Welcome to Day 3 of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps new release!  Today we're sharing projects using the Chunky Chevron and Bubbly Stencils and I decided to use both on one card... cause... why not!?  I also used the Champagne Flute Dies, Pop Fizz Clink stamp set and Celebrate dies!

I used pink and purple Catherine Pooler inks ... straight purple for the chevron and then a combo of pink and purple for the circles just for a different shade of purple!  I love how they look together!  I cut the Champagne Flute from white and purple glitter papers (using the included bubbles die on the white.  I layered the white over the purple and popped it up onto the background.  Then I cut the Celebrate three times, twice from white and once from purple glitter paper and stacked and adhered them together.  Then I popped that up over the stem of the glass.  Finally I stamped the sentiment from Popp Fizz Clink onto purple cardstock and embossed in white... then I cut each word apart and popped them up in a quirky fashion.

I'd call it a celebration on a card for sure!

CAS-ual Fridays Release Day 2 - Salty Stamps and Margarita Glass Dies!

Welcome back!  It's Day 2 of the CAS-ual Fridays New Release!  Today we're sharing makes using the new Salty Stamps and Margarita Glass Dies!

I also used the awesome new Chunky Chevron stencil on this one along with some beautiful Catherine Pooler Inks.  I stamped the glass and die cut it with the coordinating die... love that it cuts right up against the outline (I did run the edge of a black marker along the outside to be sure any white areas showing were filled in).  I cut the very cool "salt" part of the die from white glitter paper.  Colored the glass with Copics and mounted it onto my background with foam tape as well as one of the CUTE sentiments.

To add "bubbles" to my mango margarita, I use my blending marker and after it's colored, with the tip of the brush end I swirl in small circles... once or twice if needed.
