Magical Birthday Dragon - Miss Ink Stamps

I've got a fun card today that I created for a cool new challenge!  The Lunar New Year Challenge .. it's the year of the Dragon!  This challenge is new to me, but using the Dragon as my inspiration, I picked this Dragon from the Magic Collection over at Miss Ink Stamps and I think I love him!

I created the background using my gel press and thought it would be just right for this one.  I added a balloon from Punny Farm Pigs and a sentiment from Lovely Unicorns.

You should head on over to the Lunar New Year Challenge Blog and check it out.  There is lots of inspiration!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

Give Me Coffee!

Hello!  I've got some caffeinated Halloween fun for you today!

I added some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink using two stencils to a cool green gel print.  I cut two Magnolia frames, one from black and one from a pretty green metallic green cardstock from my latest Your Paper Insider box.  I also used it matte (I cut the frame from the center of the panel).

I'm in love with this set!  I realized after I finished it I used the same sentiment as last time...lol!  I guess it's my favorite... but next time a different one because they're all great!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Crafty Friends Are the Best Friends

Welcome back!  Have you seen the beautiful Blooming Brushes stamp set over at Miss Ink Stamps??  I was thinking about all of the beautiful single wildflowers in the set and had this idea!

I started with the Basket Case stencil and blended some Ink On 3 Atelier Inks through it.  Then I splattered some water infused with Ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust, White paint and Gold Color Shine over the top of it.  I stamped, cut and colored all of my images and moved them around on the background until I had the look I wanted.

All of the images were popped up onto the panel.  Next I stamped one of the great sentiments from the Blooming Brushes set onto white cardstock and then die cut it with a heart shaped die and popped that up.

That's me for today!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  Hope to see you again soon!
