Hey Grrrrlfriend - Pupperfly

Hello!  Now... you had to know that this was gonna happen!

For this one I left off the outermost strip of the butterfly wings for a different look.  Also, I forgot to add the antenna to Slim before I cut him out, so it just stenciled them onto some white cardstock and fussy cut them out.  

I popped him up over a gel print with the Big Paws stencil and the frame from Oh Happy Day.

I may or may not be done with wild butterflies for a while... I just don't think I can outdo this Pupperfly.

Slim Mini Album and Therm O Web

I used pics from my phone printed with a Sprocket printer and a cool Mini Album Box die set from Studio Light that I picked up over in the Frantic Stamper Shop!  Actually she doesn't have the die in the shop, but I emailed her and she ordered it for me!  Frantic Stamper is a great place to get those products from overseas shops and love that she'll special order if she can.

I've got tons of Deco Foil touches added with all kinds of techniques.

I filled both sides of this accordian album and layered it using the dies in the set.

And it fits beautifully right inside the box.

I used cutouts from Toner Card Fronts, Easy Cut Adhesive and Foil....

Life's Ruff-Sending Hugs with Miss Ink Stamps

Happy Friday!  I've got another fun furbaby card for you today and this time I'm playing along over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog's Pawsome Pets Challenge!  I've met the twist with my Punny Sentiment.  And their partner this time around is the Use Your Stuff challenge where the theme is Animals so I'm playing along there too.

I've used the Slim's Whims stamp set from Miss Ink and a background with my Gel Press and the Pawsome Stencil!  This stamp set was inspired by my boy Slim and I love to color him up in all kinds of different colors.  I'll take my boy in any color!

Slim's Whim's - I like your Dog

Hello!  I've got some Slim for you today!  I realized it had been a while so it was time to pull him out and color him up!

I created some backgrounds with the Big Paws Stencil on my Gel Press and decided to use this one.  I added a very light foil over the top using a foil sheet I'd already run through 3 or four times.

And that sassy sentiment?  No worries!  My friends get me!

You Are My Favorite-A Slim's Whims Valentine!

Well, of course it's time for some Slim's Whims... it's been far too long!  And when I decided to make a Valentine, I couldn't wait!  It was fun coloring the pup in the set twice in different colors and adding them as a pair on this one.  I stamped the bow tie and "hair" bow onto printed paper and fussy cut them out.  I did add a little shading with some gray Copics for depth.

I decided to use just part of one of the sentiments from the set and added some hearts... cause it's a Valentine!

I'm playing along over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog where the challenge is to use at least three different Design Papers!  I've used four!  One for the background, one for each of the bows and one for the largest heart!

Where The Bones Are Buried - Miss Ink Stamps

Well, you know I love the Slim's Whims stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps!!  I mean, my fur baby Slim was the inspiration!  I had so much fun creating this one using that one plus Oh Nuts and that AWESOME new Bone Chevron stencil available in the shop!

This was an easy one... just stamped, cut and colored the images and then used some Glossy Black Embossing Paste from Dreamweaver through the stencil.

I Like Your Dog - Miss Ink Stamps

I've got some more Slim's Whims for you today in yet another color combo!

My base was made with some acrylic paints, the Random Dots Stencil and my Gel Press.  I also used the Pawsome stencil on the green strip with some Deco Foil Blanco.

This time I only dressed him up with his bowtie... and decided a little snark was the ticket with this sentiment!  (I know my friends will giggle if I send it to them).  And really, full disclosure, Slim really would love you better than your dog...lol... but that face says snark, doesn't it?  Most of the time the look on his face is a bit of an "I can't even" look..

And you know he loves to pose with his cards!

Squirrel! - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  I've got some Slim's Whims for you today!  Because you can never have enough Slim!

I needed to get this one out of my head... inspired by that silly sentiment from the set!  I love all of the sentiments on this set... some punny, some snark, some silly and all fun!  And I knew this little squirrel from the Oh Nuts stamp set was perfect for this one.

I started this one with a gel print background and used the Leafy Green stencil and applied some Deco Foil Metallix Gold Gel through it.  I stamped, cut and colored the images and then used the frame and speech bubble together and added the first part of my sentiment at the top and then the "punchline" at the bottom with the SQUIRREL!

I think Slim is quite handsome in all of the different color combos I've seen him in so far!  I used E40-44 for this one.
