Wishing You Peace and Joy - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  I'm back with Little Angel from Miss Ink Stamps!

I created a simple background by embossing that fab gold metallic from the current Your Paper Insider box with a tree... perfect for a magical holiday!

I stamped, cut and colored the adorable images from the set and arranged the scene and finally stamped one of the sentiments onto white cardstock and popped it on.

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope your holidays are magical!

Haunted Hellos-Miss Ink and A Gel Press Background

Welcome back!  I've got some more Miss Ink Stamps Halloween!  I used a Gel Press background I made previously and stamped the House from the Roll With It stamp set with Versamark and embossed with some Tim Holtz Embossing Glaze.

I colored up some cutie pie critters from the Boo Crew set as well as the Angel from the Little Angel set.  She dressed up as a dark angel for Halloween and took her furry friends out for some safe Halloween fun!

I hope you enjoyed your visit!  Thank you for stopping!  Hope to see you again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Stained "Glass" Anyone?

Welcome back!  It's been a few days, but I've been busy creating including this one!  I was looking at the beautiful holographic papers from ETC Papers and had an idea!

I loved the way using alcohol inks on EVO paper with texture paste applied through a stencil looked on this prior card here and was wondering what would happen if I used a stencil to apply clear texture paste on some Hologram Paper and then alcohol inks and I LOVE it!

It's quite hard to pick up ALL of the nuances of this background with the Floral Stained Glass stencil... aside from the beautiful colors, the sparkle that comes through from the holographic paper is amazing!

And I decided to go a little Eastery with this one using the Springtime Banners and Springtime Bunnies stamp sets.  I decided to give it a sentiment from Little Angel so it doesn't have to necessarily be for Easter.

If you love sparkle and shine... you are gonna extra love these holographic papers. It's definitely given me some ideas for another and I'll be sharing that sometime this month!

I am playing along with a few challenges with this one!  Over at Double Trouble it's Anything Goes!  But I've also met the Twist by using colored images for their National Crayon Day celebration.  Use any of your coloring mediums (non techie) to meet the twist.

I'm also playing along with 2 Crafty Critter Crazies which is always Anything Goes with a Critter!  I've got some of those on this one!

Thanks for stopping and be sure to come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Heavenly Day!

Welcome!!  Hope you put on your sunglasses before you popped over here!  I've got some color for you today!

I had some fun with Evo Paper, Alcohol Inks and Texture paste again and with that gorgeous Stained Glass Floral stencil...sure does make me happy!

I added a little bit of holographic glitter before the alcohol ink was dry again...and some of the inks are Pearls so I'm loving the shine on that background.  And it was fun to color that banner in a rainbow pattern to match the background... as well as the flowers!

And along with these beautiful images from Little Angel and Springtime Banners... This would be heaven to me.

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed your visit and that  you'll come back again soon!

You're An Angel - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  Sharing some sweet Miss Ink Stamps Little Angel today!

I started by making a sweet, simple background by blending some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink through the Floral Stained Glass Stencil.  I added the stenciled background to the base and then cut a vellum circle that would serve as a backdrop for the scene.  I love the way it mutes the stenciling just a bit so that those sweet images don't get lost.

I also love to use the banners from Springtime Banners to frame scenes, large or small and that little corner one was perfect for this.  I colored it with Copics as well as the rest of my images and then added them to the card.  Finally a sentiment from the Little Angel set.

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - The Morning After

Welcome back!  I have this fun card for you today which I must say made me giggle quite a bit as I was creating it!  If you checked out this month's Crafty Elves post then you saw my favorite card I made during the month... and this little scene occurred the morning after that one!

This poor guy got Blitzened last night and this is where his little woodland friends found him this morning and they are rallying around to see how they can help!

I had so much fun using some Distress Oxide Inks for the background and critters from Blitzened and Little Angel and a sentiment from Blitzened!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you enjoyed it and come back soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Do All Things With Love

Welcome back!  I've got some Miss Ink Little Angel sweetness for you!   I used the beautiful Woodcut Floral background stamp and some Distress Oxides for the background and lots of gold.

I even added some gold gel pen and Gold Wink of Stella to her wings.

And I used all of the adorable images on this set because why not???  The frame is an old discontinued one but it was perfect for this card!

That's me for today!  thanks so much for stopping by and hope you come again soon!

Not A Creature - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  Welcome back!  I've got some sweetness from Miss Ink for you today!  I started by stamping the beautiful Mountainside image and colored the trees and mountains, moon and snow using Copic markers.  I leaned towards darker colors and purplish gray.  Then I blended some purple and blue distress oxides leaving space around the moon.  I went right over the mountains and snow and even the trees a little.  Then I blended the yellow over the moon area.  I splattered it with water and dabbed up the excess with a paper towel.  Then sprayed some water infused with Liquid Pixie Dust over that.  Once that was dry, I used a white gel pen to go over the starts that are in the image and had been stamped in black. and added a few white gel drops around in my sky.

I trimmed the background piece so that it would fit under the window die and adhered it to my base.  Then I added acetate to the back of the window die and then popup tape.  I tossed the clear sequins onto the background and added the window piece over the top of them.

Finally, I added that adorable image from Blitzened that I had stamped, cut and colored and fussy cut part of a sentiment from Little Angel and popped it up in place as well.

And that's it!  I am happy this turned out as I had planned it in my head!  That doesn't always happen.

And I there’s this!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!
