Long Time No See - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  Yesterday it was a cute piggy and today I've got this adorable Highland Cow for you!

These layered stencil sets are fabulous and I did add the sun, water and solid grass using other stencils as well.  Each stencil in the sets are numbered and there is a cool little L shaped piece that helps you line them up!

Mooey Christmas - Miss Ink Stamps!

Mooey Christmas!  I made this one for someone in particular!  I love making these snowy backgrounds with some of the awesome backround stamps from Miss Ink Stamps!

And those Highland Cows?!  So cute!

The Punny Farm Frame Die Set came in handy for the sentiment!  I love the unique fonts used for the Miss Ink alphas!  And I created some pretty poinsettias or Cuetlaxochitl, using the flower dies from the Oh Happy Day die set. I just learned that this flower that was said to be "discovered" by Joel Poinsett is actually native to Mexico was actually widely used and cultivated by Native Americans before its "discovery" and had nothing to do with Christmas.  The pronunciation is (kwet-la-sho-she).

 Here's a little history if you're interested!  I stumbled upon it and was happy to learn about it.

Hi-land Cows - Miss Ink Stamps

Have you seen the new Highland Cows stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps??

It's adorable with lots of equally adorable punny sentiments!  But I used it here with the Hi from the Hi Swirl Frame set for a simple Hello.

I random stamped some of the sunflowers and colored them for the background of my Hi... TBH I meant for it to be the upper level, but messed up when I die cut it... but I actually like it for the edges with the darker center... so I went with it!
