Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas - October 2025 Edition

It's the 25th of the month and time for the Craft Elves to share the Christmas cards we made this month.

I'm using leftovers from other projects today including one of my favorite gel prints.  The frame, pup and Merry Sentiment were extras and the snowflakes too and I cut the trees from a foiled gel print.

I think I'll be trying to use up lots more extras over the next few months.

Now be sure to head on over to Debra and Michael's places to see what they've made for today!  Thanks for stopping!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #24

It's the first of the month and time for another fun challenge over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  This month our sponsor is Frantic Stamper!

Play along with the challenge for a chance to win these three dies from Frantic Stamper!

And I'm having a giveaway here on my blog!  Stay tuned for more info about that!

I used some awesome Frantic Stamper products on this one and some other things I got in the Frantic Stamper shop.

I've been wanting that cool Tiered Tray die set for a while and when I saw it in the Frantic Stamper shop I decided it was time.

I decorated my tray with the snowman, poinsettias, I.O. house... all picked up from the shop.  The trees are from Rubbernecker and the bird was cut from a different snowman from Frantic Stamper.  And my Merry sentiment was from a fun sentiment die set from FS too!

When I was putting this one together I realized I had bought two of those Cup of Cocoa dies!  I definitely don't need two!  So I'm giving one away here!  Leave me some love and when the challenge is over I'll pick a winner to send the Cup of Cocoa too and maybe a little extra!

I'm also playing along over at the Inspired By Challenge!  I imagine you can see where my inspiration came from!  What inspires you??  Check it out and play along.

Thanks so much for stopping and be sure to head on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card blog to see what everyone else has created for you!

Come again soon!

Crafty Elves' Countdown To Christmas - April 2021 Edition

Welcome to this month's Crafty Elves' Countdown to Christmas!  We have made the commitment to create a Christmas Card a week for 2021 and every 25th of the month my crafty friends and I share the Christmas Cards we made that month!  Here's what I've got for you this month:

This month I mixed up an old MFT set and an old Hero Arts set and together they are pawfect!

Both sets are retired, but I don't know if I'll ever part with them!  The pups and sentiments are from MFT's Deck The Howls stamp set and the cacti are from the Hero Arts Merry Cactus set.

I am playing along with the Spring Into Christmas 2021 BYSHC Hop!  Check it out here!

I cut various frames... this one is from Impression Obsession.

And I used some papers from the Sunny Studio Stamps Holiday Cheer paper pad... so fun!  I think I'm down to just strips, but pretty sure I'm gonna use some of those next month.

This photo frame die is from Trinity... and I threw on a few snowflake die cuts I had laying around.  I'm pretty sure you can't have too many pup stamp sets, cactus stamp sets, and snowflake die cuts...

I just love these pups... I've had them for so long and just now got them out and inked them up!  That happens far too often... But I've got more stamped and cut so you might be seeing them again soon!

Decided to make this one a mini slim using some new dies from A Jillian Vance Design... I'm really loving this size card..

And that's me!  Easy Breezy!

Also, in case you are interested:

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your visit!  Now be sure to head on over to my fellow Crafty Elves' places and see what they've got for you today!  And we've got a special guest joining us this month!

Crafty Elves Countdown to the Holidays - July 2020 Edition!

Welcome back!  It's the 25th of the month and time for me and my crafty friends to share the Christmas cards we made this month!  Please be sure to visit them too once you get done here!

For me, this month's theme is Hoggy Holidays!  Here's how I was inspired:

Apparently I'm partial to swine!  Who knew!?  But I realized I had a couple adorable Christmas pig sets that I hadn't used yet, so I decided this was the month!

This one is from The Rabbit Hole Designs called Hoggy Holidays and I just love it!  There are two pigs in the set and I used both!  And for this one I used the sentiment strip from MFT Stamps and the little frame is from the same Impression Obsession die as the one below! (AND it's half off right now!  You can find it here!) The snowflakes on this one are from Lawn Fawn.  I'm a bit of a connoisseur of snowflake dies and this is one of my faves!

Along with that pretty and punny sentiment from the set!  It was perfect!  I used the larger frame from that Impression Obsession die and snowflakes from Reverse Confetti on this one.

And then there's this adorable Hogs & Kisses set from Sunny Studio!  It's an adorable little mini set with three holiday pigs and that speech bubble and all the words are separate so easy to build a sentiment!  I used the photo frame from Trinity, the bells from Your Next Stamp, the Mistletoe is an old Craftin Desert Divas die set and the landscape and tiny tree and house are from Trinity!

These guys are also from the Sunny Studio set and the Holiday Cheer paper I used on all four cards is from Sunny Studio as well! The frame is from Trinity and the snowflakes are from Reverse Confetti (no longer available).

I'm playing along over at Double Trouble's Christmas In July Challenge!  And they are partnering with the Heart2Heart Challenge to use your favorite tool (they are waving the requirement to use at least one CTMH product for this partnership, but you do get an extra chance to win at Double Trouble if you do!)  My favorite tools... and they are probably equal... are my Gemini die cutting machine and my Copics!  Check them out!

That's me for today! I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Now it's time for the winner of some happy mail from comments left on last month's post!

Kim!  Send me your snail mail so I can get your Happy Mail out to you!

We're doing it again this month!  I'm extra slow at getting stuff in the mail right now since I can't or won't go to the post office at this time, but I'm figuring it all out from home...lol!

Now be sure to hop on over to my fellow crafty elves' blogs (list above) and see what they have for you today!  Thanks for stopping and be sure to see my other post today which has one more Christmas card in it!

Krafty Chicks Challenge #459-Camp Out

It's time for a new challenge over at the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog!   This week the theme is "Camp Out" and it was the perfect opportunity for me to use some things I hadn't broken out yet!

I started with the some old CTMH papers and cut the background layer using a Rubbernecker Nested Deckle Rectangle Die... love the jagged edges on these!  Next I cut a circle and used some pearl texture paste and a star stencil to add stars to the circle.

So that I'd have stitches on my circular scene all around, I cut another of the same circle in the lagoon color and the dark gray to create my background.  Then I cut the MFT Snow-Capped Mountains from the dark gray circle and my grass and hill layers using the lagoon.  I cut my snowy mountain tops using a lighter gray.  I layered on those pieces after my stars were dry (kinda...lol... no patience here) and used foam tape to pop up the bottom.  Then I added the Evergreen Trees from Impression Obsession and pieced together that adorable Build A Camper from Spellbinders.

This sentiment from the Joy Clair Wild & Free Stamp Set was perfect!

Now be sure to head on over to the Krafty Chicks Blog and see what everyone has created for you today and then get busy and play along!

Thanks for stopping and don't forget to visit me over at the CAS-ual Fridays Blog today for something Huggable!

Happy Birthday From Howl Of Us!

So lucky to be able to attend a crop yesterday with some of my best crafty girlfriends and took the opportunity to ink up some images I hadn't yet, but have been dying to!  Also, I just don't have enough plain old birthday cards!  So the first one I pulled out was this adorable image from Little Acres Creations From The Pack Stamp Set.

I started with these design papers from CTMH (I'm not sure which paper packs they are from) but I knew I wanted that subtle cloudy background.

It was fun to color in these cuties belting out a soulful tune to the recipient!  I cut them out and popped them up on the background.  I also added a couple of the music notes included in the set.

The From All Of Us part of the sentiment is a stamp from the set also, but I used an  Impression Obsession die for the Happy Birthday and love the way it turned out cut from glitter paper.  I decided on the baker's twine to cover up a smudge in the top left corner...lol... how many of my crafty decisions are made.  I'm often trying to cover up some goof or another.  Then I felt like just a few of my favorite CDD sequins were all that was needed to finish it off.  A little simple for me, but I love it!

Thanks for stopping and hope you enjoyed it!  Stop again soon!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge-Coffee Lovers Hop Day 4

Welcome to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #242 and Yup!  It's already Day 4 of the Winter 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Here's what I made for today:

I used the sketch to create a couple fun tags.  I know I'm not alone when I say that I have stuff in my craft room I haven't even touched since I bought it so today was the day I cracked some of that open.

One being these awesome plaid MFT papers that I bought LAST YEAR!  They are so pretty though aren't they?  I used the Stamplorations tag dies which are among my favorites!

I didn't have a whole lot of wintery washi that matched so for the strips I used a Doodlebug Christmas pad that I've had and used quite a bit of and the colors were perfect with the MFT papers!  Got lucky there!  I got this Cup stamp and die from Impression Obsession fairly recently when they had a sale, and that adorable deer is from a CDD stamp set that I've had for quite a while and not used... but it was perfect along with this sentiment from the Doodlebugs paper pad.  And of course I scattered around some of my other favorite sequins from CDD.

For this one I used some Doodlebugs Coffee stickers and puffy stickers that I've also had for quite a while and not used yet.  Aren't they adorable!?

Here's the sketch!  I can't wait to see what you do with it!

And why not do what I did and pair it up with this:
