Miss Ink Stamps - Calm and Bright Woodcut Floral

I have some more Woodcut Floral for you today!  I made lots of those pretty florals so for this one, I added them over a plaid gel print that I created with some acrylic paints and the Candy Stripe stencil!

I used some Rubbernecker Stamps dies - Mini Slimline Stitched, Scalloped Mini Slimline and Small Tags for the card base and sentiment tag.

I just repositioned the stripes on my Gel Press to create the plaid!

This time I used a sentiment from the Calm & Bright stamp set.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and please do come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - You Color My World Plaid

Welcome back!  I've got a fun plaid background today I made using a couple Miss Ink stripey stencils, the Candy Stripe Stencil and the Diagonal Stripes Stencil.

I started with a panel of yellow cardstock and applied some Ink on 3 Atelier Marigold Orange ink through the Diagonal Stripes stencil.  Then I laid the Candy Strip Stencil over the top but criss crossing the opposite way and applied some Atelier Twiggy Brown over it.  I applied a bit more of the orange after lining up the stencil again.

Next I heat embossed the Fall Bouquet over the plaid using some Ink On 3 Gold Rush Fine Embossing Powder.  I colored the images using Zig Markers and love how the plaid shows through it.  I splattered some water over the top and soaked up the extra and then splattered some gold color shine and set it aside to dry.

Finally, I diecut the letters from the EI EI O die set twice to make the word Hello (I just save the extras for another time) and popped them up on the card and then used a sentiment from the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set to finish it off.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!
