Happy Birthday Grrrrlfriend! - Miss Ink Stamps

I'm using some stencils today for a fun mid mod/Lisa Frank kind of card...lol!

I started by adding Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors using the Art Deco Stencil.   Then I added the foliage using the Artsy Abstracts stencils and Black Soot ink.  I used Pixie Tape to mask any areas and there are intricate cuts in the stencil so you'll want to use Pixie Spray to hold it in place.

Then I used the Tiger Portrait stencil set for the tiger and fussy cut it out.  I popped the Postage frame up over it and tucked the tiger into the corner of the frame.

Finally I used the Slim's Whims stamp set and Everyday Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps - Fang-tastic!

Hello!  I've got a Fang-Tastic card for you today using one of the new sets from the latest release over at Miss Ink Stamps!

For the background I used the Rosie Posie stencil that isn't in the shop right now however you might be able to get one if you really want it (just let me know in a comment), but there are others such as the Basket Case stencil that would definitely work!

And the Magnolia Frame die was perfect for this in purple glitter.  The sentiment is from the Fang-Tastic stamp set.  And I love that I can cut these spiders out in detail using the coordinating dies.

That's me for today!  Thanks for stopping!

Eat Play Love - A Colorful Life Designs

Hi!  I decided to have some fun with some stencils I picked up over in the A Colorful Life Designs shop fairly recently.  There is a special anniversary challenge over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog so I decided to play along over there!

My first card I just had to use the Puppy Pals stencils (they come with masks!) and Eat Play Love.  Since the theme over at Double Trouble is Kraft I used it for both of my cards today.  I love how it looks with the browns and black Distress Oxides.  The Eat Play Love stencil does have a heart but I decided to add a glitter heart die cut over it for this one.  I used the included masks to put both pups on the same side.

And this is the one that's going to be linked up over at Double Trouble.  The special anniversary challenge asks you to choose an additional theme in the form of a "raffle" and there is a special raffle prize!  Be sure to read all of the details over on their blog.  I'm entering this one into the Birthday or Newborn raffle.

Thank you so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps-All I Need

I've got some more Miss Ink Stamps caffeinated goodness for you today!

I'm using those awesome floral caffeine molecules from the Caffeinated stamps and dies.  I stamped them in Wow Embossing Ink and embossed them in Gold.  Then I colored them in using Zig markers.

For the background, I blended some purples and blues onto a panel and then used the cool beans stencil to add some Glitz Glitter Gel.  I made the backround very subtle so as not to take away from those pretty delicate molecules.

I cut the frame from Oh Happy Day from glitter paper and popped it up over the background and then popped the molecules up and added a sentiment from the caffeinated set.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and please do come again soon!

Always Thinking Of You - Miss Ink Stamps

Happy Friday!  I've got some more rainbow for you!  I started by ink blending a rainbow through the Sunburst Stencil.  Then I cut the Castle Arches die from woodgrain paper to create a Gazebo.  This die is fabulous and it does not cut this as one solid piece.  You get pieces that you can add to it or not depending on how you want your arches to look.

I die cut a bunch of the flowers from Hi Swirl Frame die set from foiled toner paper and the always die from purple glitter paper.

I used Nuvo Drops for my flower centers and added a sentiment from the Always stamp set.

That's me for today!  Thanks for stopping and I hope you come again soon!

Sending Paper Hugs - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  It's Fri-Yay!  And I've got some Miss Ink Stamps Snail Mail for you today!

I started this one with a watercolor background and added some clouds using the Scene Builder Clouds stencil.

I stamped, die cut and colored my images and popped them up on the background ... that's what I'd call Air Mail!

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and come again soon!

Beary Best - Miss Ink Stamps

I know Valentine's Day has come and gone, but love doesn't follow the calendar!  And I've been dying to ink up this adorable Beary Best stamp set for a while now so I did!

I just love this super cute pair... the Bunny and Bear line of stamps are just the sweetest!

I started with a water colored panel and added some hand drawn hearts with Distress Oxide ink.  I splattered on some white and red paint and gold ink and then layered it over 5! panels...lol!  I just couldn't stop myself.  I especially love all of the scalloped dies over at MIS.

Finally one of the great sentiments from the set and a few sequins!

That's me for today!  Hope you enjoyed it and that you'll come again soon.

Crafty Friends - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  I've got some more Bee-autiful Blooms from Miss Ink Stamps for you today!

I used Distress Oxides to watercolor the background.  I let it dry completely and then embossed the floral onto it.  Normally I do the embossing first, but I forgot!  I do that a lot.  Then I added more color to the flowers with Zig Real Color Brush Markers.  Finally I splattered some gold ink over the top.

I stamped a simple sentiment and die cut it with a circle die and then layered it over the center from a previously cut Magnolia Frame.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Come again soon!

Make A Wish - Your Paper Insider

Welcome back!  Today I've got a fun birthday card I made for my dad using some of the fabulous papers from the latest Your Paper Insider Box!

I started with a dark gray cardstock from a prior YPI box and used the layered Alice Background stencil pack with Distress Oxides.  I added some Glitz Glitter Gel with one of the layers.

I cut a circle from the Gold Vellum in the current box from the middle of a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of the vellum and then used the rectangle for the first layer matte.

I cut that Lawn Fawn Make A Wish die from the beautiful gold and silver glitter paper from the current box.  Finally a few silver stars and clear sequins.  And my dad loved it (although it might have something to do with the cash inside for his next Casino trip...lol)

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

All is Calm - Miss Ink Stamps

Hi there!  I've got another tag for you today using the Miss Ink Stamps Treeline Stencil and Calm & Bright Stamp Set!

I had a lot of fun creating the top two layers with the Treeline Stencil... I started at the top with a lighter ink and slowly got darker as I made my way down the stencil.  I love that it's a slimline stencil so I have lots of choices for moving the stencil around.

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

Give Me Coffee!

Hello!  I've got some caffeinated Halloween fun for you today!

I added some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink using two stencils to a cool green gel print.  I cut two Magnolia frames, one from black and one from a pretty green metallic green cardstock from my latest Your Paper Insider box.  I also used it matte (I cut the frame from the center of the panel).

I'm in love with this set!  I realized after I finished it I used the same sentiment as last time...lol!  I guess it's my favorite... but next time a different one because they're all great!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!
