Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2021 - Holly Jolly Everything

Hello!  I have two cards today for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and this is my final card using some great Polka Dot Orchard digital stamps!

I saw this Tall Thanks car with a coffee cup on the top and I knew I had to use it... it isn't a Christmas image, but I made it one using the Magic of Christmas set for the Santa hat and belt and that great sentiment!

I printed and colored all of my images separately, fussy cut them and assembled them together (rather than digitally putting them together) and cut the sentiment with a banner die.  I cut the mini slimline using an AJVD die from a panel of a gel press print from my stash and used a stencil to add a snowfall with some Glitz Glitter Gel.

I popped up everything on the card and added a few sequins!

And that is the end of the Coffee Lovers Hop for me!  Hoping to visit some blogs over the weekend and can't wait to see what everyone created!

Thanks so much for sticking with me this week and hope you'll come again soon!

Instagram Hop With Polka Dot Orchard and Angie Blom!

Oh Happy Day!  Today we're hopping over on Instagram with some new release digital stamps from Angie Blom Digital Designs and Polka Dot Orchard!

I have two cards for today's hop... one from each!

First this one was made with Angie Blom's Road Trip Girl set!

I just love these stacked suitcases full of all things travel!  I printed, cut and colored the image and sentiment and then created the soft cloudy background with a stencil and some Distress Oxide Ink.  Then I splattered on a little glittery watercolor and when it was dry popped up all of my pieces!  Easy peasy!

I knew I wanted to make a slimline with this stack of ice cream goodness from Polka Dot Orchard called Birthday Stackup, so I sized my images accordingly, cut and colored it.   I used a stencil to add some "confetti" in some shimmery glitter paste, die cut the sentiment and layered all of my pieces together.  It's been so long since I had one of these ... my favorite would be the one rolled in chocolate chips.  Ever since I made this card I've been craving one!!

That's me for today!  Now, to see what everyone created and for your chances to win some free digis, head on over to my Instagram account @bzscrapper and follow the instructions!  Good luck!

Thanks for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

You can link up multiple new creations for multiple chances!).  For all of the rules and to check out who the sponsors are, link up or just start hopping, check out the main hop post here up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog!  And for even more fun, if you're not already a member, join us over in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Group on Facebook here where we share caffeinated inspiration all year long!  (Be sure to answer all of the questions to get added right away!  You have until the end of the day today to link up!

Here's how I was inspired:

I've used two different Polka Dot Orchard digital sets for today... the Lifetime of Happiness set for the sentiment and Flowers in Bloom for the Cup and Florals!

I started with the fun polka dot background from AJVD!  I cut it in green and filled some of the holes with purple dots to create two borders.

One of my favorite things about digital stamps is you can play with the size and flip them if you want once you pull them into whatever program you use to edit!  I pulled these into Word and changed a little of all of those things!  I printed, colored and fussy cut them out!

My second favorite thing about digital stamps is because I print them with a laser, I'm able to foil them!  I used some Gina K sparkly green foil on the sentiment!  I arranged everything onto my card base and added a few of my favorite Trinity sequins!

And that's me for this one!  I'm gonna have one more for you today for the Coffee Hop so hope you'll come back and visit again!

If fun and inspiration isn't enough reason to hop... check out all of the sponsors we have!

Thank you so much to Catherine Pooler and Hedge Hog Hollow for bringing us all together today to share some smiles and love!
I have a few cards to share with you today made with lots of products from a few of our sponsors:

I'm starting today off with one using products from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  You can find SO many awesome coffee themed stamps and dies over in the CAS-ual Fridays shop as well as bunches of other pretty, fun, and sassy sets!  For this one I used the Modern Petals Stencil and blended some inks through it and then added some translucent embossing paste over the top for dimension.  While it was drying, I die cut the Coffee Cup and Heart Board Fri-dies from Copic Friendly Paper.  Next I stamped the beautiful flower from Pretty Posies and colored it, the cup, and the hearts with Copics.  I arranged everything and added that cool sentiment from Stay Strong.

Should you decide you need something from the CAS-ual Fridays shop, I have this for you:

Next I did this:

I just love the adorable images on the Unstoppable Stamp Set from Miss Ink Stamps!  The dinosaurs along with all of the other secondary images are fantastic.. and the little details... like the reacher grabber thingies (because of course big dinosaurs with tiny arms need those!) and TOILET PAPER!!...lol!  I hadn't even noticed the TP on the set and was looking at it recently and just started giggling.  You may have a friend who helped you out when you were in a rough spot... maybe you didn't get to the stores in time before the shelves were empty of paper products and your bestie helped you out.  I imagine this guy is sneaking off to the little dino's room.  Thank goodness his pal came to his Rex-cue!  I have another card using this cute set up on the Miss Ink Stamps Blog today too so hope to see you there as well!  And there's a sale going on today in the shop and you can get Unstoppable at a discount if you love it as much as I do!

I also used that frame from a really cool Trinity Stamps set, the Slimline Frame and Fold.  I use that little photo frame ALL the time!  And my very favorite sequins from the Trinity shop as well!

Next up is this one:

If you love digital stamps, you need to check out the shop over at Polka Dot Orchard!  And if you've never used them before now is the perfect time to try them.  There are so many cool benefits from digital, like being able to layer images without having to mask (I hate masking!!); you can flip them, print them larger or smaller, and if you print them on a laser printer you can apply foil with heat if you want!  Or you can just print them out and use them as you would any tangible stamp!  I did that here.  Printed, cut out and colored that awesome tall stacked cake image from the Celebrate Today set and the Slimline Dies from Trinity Stamps were perfect for creating my shaker background.  I fussy cut one of the sentiments from the digital set to finish it off!

And last but definitely not least:

If you know me, you know I love florals, adorable critters and coffee, and these sets from Trinity check all of those boxes!  I actually bought the Love You Bunches floral #1 because it's SO beautiful and #2 to play along with the 1st monthly challenge over at Trinity Stamps which was... florals!  I never did get to play along with that one, but the challenge for April Craft Troop Challenge is Critters so I used it along with the adorable brand new Dir-Tea Bunny.   I also used the Hello Senti-Mini dies along with one of the sentiments from Love You Bunches.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your stop here and that you'll come again soon!  If it's your first time here and you'd like to come again, you can sign up in the sidebar to subscribe to get notifications of new posts!
From here you can make your way over to Candi's place.  (Pretty sure you're gonna love what you see there!).  And be sure to leave some love at her stop and all along the hop for lots of chances to win!

Love & Friendship Inspiration Blog Hop With Polka Dot Orchard!

Valentine's Day may be over and done for this year, but Polka Dot Orchard is still celebrating with our Love and Friendship Inspiration Blog Hop!  The Creative Team has amazing creations to share with you featuring some of PDO's newest releases!  We have two $10 gift cards for two lucky winners chosen randomly from the comments.  You have until February 24th at 11:59 pm EST to leave a comment on each of the blogs, including the Polka Dot Orchard blog letting us know that you completed the hop.  We will announce the lucky winners on February 26th on the Polka Dot Orchard Blog.

Here's how I was inspired:

So ... it's a Love and Friendship Blog Hop!  I imagine that Toy Story Style when the interweb is quiet and no one is looking... the gnome couple from the Gnome Matter What digi stamp set get together with their friends from the From Our Gnome To Yours and the Caroling Gnomes digi sets... and of course in this scenario they are having coffee!

And the Chillin' With My Gnomeys sentiment was perfect!  And love the mushrooms from Gnome Matter What... I pulled the mushroom in from the set and copied and pasted it and changed the size on some and flipped some!  The magic of digital stamps!

And then if you know me at all you knew I'd have to use the I Like You A Latte set!

I flipped the cup and made it a cup-ple... see what I did there?

A few hearts and I printed the sentiment, cut it out with a banner die and colored it in with a sparkly pen.  Aren't those cups the cutest??  This is a great set for a quick and fun card!

So now be sure to check out what all of my teamies have created for you today:

Have fun and good luck!

From Our Gnome To Yours - Tag It Tuesday With Polka Dot Orchard

Have you seen the adorable gnomes from Polka Dot Orchard?  There are two new sets and I've used one of them, Gnome for the Holidays, today for a tag for an after the holidays giftie for a friend!  Holiday sets are still on sale for today including this one!  Don't miss out if you wanted to pick it up!

I arranged the trees from the set in a row and the gnome holding this sign (leaving space to die cut the tag) using Word and printed them on Copic friendly paper.   I wanted the gnome separate from the trees because I knew I'd want to cut it out and pop him up... 'cause that's how I roll!...lol!  But if you prefer not to you could easily position him right over the trees for a flatter tag.  Once printed, I die cut the Paper Smooches tag taping it in place where I wanted it over the trees and then colored them in and created a background around them with my Copics.  I fussy cut and colored my gnome and added him to the front.

All that was left to do was add some ribbon and fill up my burlap bag with some cocoa and candies!  I loved being able to use these images for a non-Christmas card... I love my gnomies!

I'm playing along over at Double Trouble Challenges Anything Goes!

Thanks so much for stopping today!  Come back tomorrow for some Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!

Beary Best Friend-Polka Dot Orchard

I'm back with another Christmas card!  This time I'm using one of my favorite new sets from Polka Dot Orchard, Beary Best Friend.  I absolutely love this folksy image... these critters are perfect for some fun coloring!  And this one is on sale right now!

I printed both the image and sentiment on Copic Friendly Paper and fussy cut the image.  Often times I do this ahead of time without a definite plan of what I'll do as far as the design of the card.  When it came time to put the card together, I found that I had printed that sentiment out fairly large and didn't think I'd be able to use the image and sentiment together without re-printing it... and then I remembered the Slimline design that is so popular right now and knew what I'd do!

I love all of the open spaces in this image making it fun for blending and adding textures... I added some lines to the scarves and dots to the sweater cuff and waistband.  Then I die cut two rectangle pieces just big enough for my sentiment and embossed the white one with a snowfall folder.  I popped up the base and the then the image for dimension and added a few snowflakes tucked in here and there.

There are some really cute sentiments in this set... this one is my favorite!  I decided I loved it big and that it should span the width of the card and added some glitter tape across the top and bottom... I actually used up my roll!!  I love and hate that!...lol!

And that's me for today!  Be sure to check out the Polka Dot Orchard shop and check out the sets on sale through December 31st!  And there are lots of new items in the shop too including some beautiful wood coasters and have you checked out the ribbon?!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 7!

Day 7 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop... one more day and I don't want to talk about it!

Had a lot of fun with these digital images from Polka Dot Orchard from the Leaves and Lattes set!  One of my favorite things about digital stamps is you can foil them!  And I did... boy did I!  I started with that background... just printed it on my laser printer and ran it through my Minc with some Amber Watercolor Decofoil... yum!

I foiled the sentiment also... this color has been a go to for me this Autumn season especially!

I printed all of my images on Copic friendly paper and colored them .. with my Copics!  I'm also participating in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge... the cup was yesterday's coloring and the leaves in the upper right today's... I plan on coloring a bit more today, but things don't always go as planned...lol!  I'm playing along on Instagram but the link is there should you need it and/or want to find out more!

One more look at that foil!!!

So along with the Coffee Hop and the Coloring Challenge, I'm playing along over at Double Trouble's You Have Us In Stitches Challenge... I have stitches on my leaf panel!  And I've met the twist with my coffee theme.

Thank you so much for stopping and I hope you enjoyed it!  You have 'til tomorrow night to play along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Be there or be square!

A-maize-ing Fall Wishes with Polka Dot Orchard

So happy to see you again!  I'm sharing some inspiration using a few Polka Dot Orchard digital sets.   Of course there is plaid!  Not to mention a little bit of foil!

Polka Dot Orchard is joining with several other companies in the National Coffee Day Hop that starts at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog today.  In addition, there is a hop up on the Polka Dot Orchard Blog and we're all sharing projects using some of the newest digital sets in the shop-some caffeinated and some not!  I'm using the beautiful and fun Amaize-ing Fall Wishes set (the corn and sentiment), Leaves & Lattes (leaves), and Autumn is Calling (wood slice) sets!

It was fun and easy to color the corn from the Amaize-ing Fall Wishes set.. and isn't that a beautiful sentiment?

And of course I welcomed the opportunity to use some foil with my laser printed images!  And those leaves from the Leaves & Latte set... love them!

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Now be sure to head on over to the Polka Dot Orchard Blog and see what is going on there!  You'll find links to everyone's projects and information as to how to get chances to win one of the prizes Polka Dot Orchard is giving away!
