Hoppy Easter!!

Just LOVE that Artfully Sent cartridge!!  The bunny and the Sentiment are from the cartridge.  The eggs were stamped and cut out from a very old set called Easter Eggs and the clouds and sun were from Rain or Shine and Lifting Spirits.  This was a lot of fun to make.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #101

Onward and upward!  Last week was much fun hearing from everyone!  Thanks to everyone who stopped by and took the time to leave us all messages.  I hope to keep hearing from you all.

Here's my take on this week's sketch for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog.  I have been using the Artfully Sent cartridge so much lately, but in bits and pieces.  I've been using Design Space to carve out the pieces I want because when I first looked at the cartridge I thought it was limited, but when you pair it with Design Space the options are limitless for sure!  Even without Design Space you can still use the parts separate from each other, but it's so much easier and more flexible with it.  The large negative space Happy on this one is from the cupcake happy birthday card on the cartridge.  The cutout Happy Birthday is actually from Artiste.  The papers are from the new Blossom coming April 1st and the flowers are from the Complements that go along with it.  This was a quick and easy card and left me plenty of time today to make Easter cards for my boys.  I'll be posting those at a later date.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to hop on over to Atlantic Hearts and check out all of the artwork for this challenge and past challenges.. there is a lot to see.  And soon winners from last week's 100th Sketch celebration challenge and drawing for prizes will be announced so check back frequently.  While you're there you may as well play along!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #100!!!!

Here is my take on this week's sketch.  Below are some additional coordinating cards I made using some very old CTMH paper and a new hostess stamp set Paper Birds available in April in the new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book.

This is a fantastic week to start participating in the Sketch Challenges:

Can you believe it; we have reached Sketch 100! Everyone at Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge is so excited to celebrate this milestone with all of our followers and participants.
To celebrate Sketch 100 we will be giving out some blog candy and all you have to do is visit our fabulous design team members blogs and leave a comment on their design for Sketch 100 and you are entered. We will be drawing several names at random from the comments. To increase your chances of winning, leave comments for all of the design team members! And to be fair, you can only win 1 time! Please invite your friends and family to join the fun!

For these cards I used one of my very favorite old CTMH paper packs, Key To My Heart.  It's perfect with the stamps on the Paper Birds set.  I'll be posting more cards I made with this stamp set and these papers ... stop back again to check them out.

The sequins are new and coming in the new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book April 1st.  Love that they can be used easily with old papers because although some colors have retired (crème brulee my old friend) others are still alive and kicking!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #99

Another great sketch over at Atlantic Hearts this week.  There are some weeks that I really need the motivation to get in my room and create.  Not that I don't want to... but life has a tendency to get in the way and it's tax season right now and boy I should be doing chores...lol.  But each week I look forward to the Atlantic Hearts sketch to get me moving to create at least one thing!  And then of course I end up creating another... and if I'm really lucky, another.

Got a shipment of new product in and this card has a sneak peak of one of the papers and one of the stamp sets that will be available for purchase after April 1st.

Now hop on over to Atlantic Hearts and stretch your creative muscles!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #98

Here is my take on this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  You may not realize that Artfully Sent is not the only CTMH cartridge with some great card cuts on it.  This swing card  was cut using Artiste.  I used the Brushed paper pack; WOTG stamp set and complements.  The colors in this paper pack are so bright and cheery.  The frame in the center is from this month's SOTM, Choose Happy.  I just finally decided to get the triangle border punch because I wasn't sure if I'd use it, but of course, I LOVE it!
Here's the inside:

One of my favorite things about swing cards is that while you are decorating the outside you're also decorating the inside!  They are a lot of fun and so easy to cut using my Cricut and my CTMH cartridges.  Hop on over to Atlantic Hearts and check out all of the great artwork and give this week's challenge a go... it is really a lot of fun to share ideas.

Three Amigos Blog Hop March

Welcome back to the Three Amigos Mini Blog Hop for March!  This month we challenged each other to use the Stamp of the Month Choose Happy.  I LOVE this set... I started out unsure as I said in a previous post, but I have really been enjoying creating with it.

I used Seaside paper for this card along with some flowers I had cut out many years ago.  This was a fun one to do and I used up quite a few of the extra cuts in my little basket... good thing 'cause it's starting to overflow..lol!

Now hop on over to Donna's or Susan's blog and check out what they have in store for you.  Thanks for stopping by again!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #97

This week's sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is another great one.  I used the Chalk It Up paper pack and the March Stamp of the Month, Choose Happy.  When I first saw that set I wasn't sure but I've found that it is so versatile because you can color these pretty little frames in any colors you want so they match every paper pack.

Hop on over to Atlantic Hearts and check out all of the great artwork by the Design Team and participants.  Here is the sketch... give it a try!   If you need help with how to join or the rules, just ask!

Don't forget to Choose Happy!!  And come on back for more fun on the 3rd for the Three Amigo Blog Hop.  It's a short one with only three stops and this month we are focusing on the Stamp of the Month.
