#SpreadJoyNotGerms Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to my stop on the #Spreadjoynotgerms Blog Hop!   A bunch of us are hopping today to spread some happy and to thank everyone who is doing their part by staying home and not spreading germs!
You should have arrived here from the Carisa's place!  If you've just discovered the hop here or you get lost along the way, you can find the complete hop list at the Catherine Pooler and Hedge Hog Hollow Blogs!
If fun and inspiration isn't enough reason to hop... check out all of the sponsors we have!
There are more than 30 Sponsors for this hop and you have chances to win some awesome prizes all along the way!  The more you comment, the more chances you have!  Winners will be chosen from across all of the blogs participating in the hop!  You have until April 24th to hop and comment and winners will be announced on April 27th on the Catherine Pooler and Hedge Hog Hollow blogs!
Thank you so much to Catherine Pooler and Hedge Hog Hollow for bringing us all together today to share some smiles and love!
I have a few cards to share with you today made with lots of products from a few of our sponsors:

I'm starting today off with one using products from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  You can find SO many awesome coffee themed stamps and dies over in the CAS-ual Fridays shop as well as bunches of other pretty, fun, and sassy sets!  For this one I used the Modern Petals Stencil and blended some inks through it and then added some translucent embossing paste over the top for dimension.  While it was drying, I die cut the Coffee Cup and Heart Board Fri-dies from Copic Friendly Paper.  Next I stamped the beautiful flower from Pretty Posies and colored it, the cup, and the hearts with Copics.  I arranged everything and added that cool sentiment from Stay Strong.

Should you decide you need something from the CAS-ual Fridays shop, I have this for you:

Next I did this:

I just love the adorable images on the Unstoppable Stamp Set from Miss Ink Stamps!  The dinosaurs along with all of the other secondary images are fantastic.. and the little details... like the reacher grabber thingies (because of course big dinosaurs with tiny arms need those!) and TOILET PAPER!!...lol!  I hadn't even noticed the TP on the set and was looking at it recently and just started giggling.  You may have a friend who helped you out when you were in a rough spot... maybe you didn't get to the stores in time before the shelves were empty of paper products and your bestie helped you out.  I imagine this guy is sneaking off to the little dino's room.  Thank goodness his pal came to his Rex-cue!  I have another card using this cute set up on the Miss Ink Stamps Blog today too so hope to see you there as well!  And there's a sale going on today in the shop and you can get Unstoppable at a discount if you love it as much as I do!

I also used that frame from a really cool Trinity Stamps set, the Slimline Frame and Fold.  I use that little photo frame ALL the time!  And my very favorite sequins from the Trinity shop as well!

Next up is this one:

If you love digital stamps, you need to check out the shop over at Polka Dot Orchard!  And if you've never used them before now is the perfect time to try them.  There are so many cool benefits from digital, like being able to layer images without having to mask (I hate masking!!); you can flip them, print them larger or smaller, and if you print them on a laser printer you can apply foil with heat if you want!  Or you can just print them out and use them as you would any tangible stamp!  I did that here.  Printed, cut out and colored that awesome tall stacked cake image from the Celebrate Today set and the Slimline Dies from Trinity Stamps were perfect for creating my shaker background.  I fussy cut one of the sentiments from the digital set to finish it off!

And last but definitely not least:

If you know me, you know I love florals, adorable critters and coffee, and these sets from Trinity check all of those boxes!  I actually bought the Love You Bunches floral #1 because it's SO beautiful and #2 to play along with the 1st monthly challenge over at Trinity Stamps which was... florals!  I never did get to play along with that one, but the challenge for April Craft Troop Challenge is Critters so I used it along with the adorable brand new Dir-Tea Bunny.   I also used the Hello Senti-Mini dies along with one of the sentiments from Love You Bunches.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your stop here and that you'll come again soon!  If it's your first time here and you'd like to come again, you can sign up in the sidebar to subscribe to get notifications of new posts!
From here you can make your way over to Candi's place.  (Pretty sure you're gonna love what you see there!).  And be sure to leave some love at her stop and all along the hop for lots of chances to win!

25 Days of Christmas Tags - CAS-ual Fridays!

So excited to be participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags along with my CAS-ual Fridays teamies!   CAS-ual Fridays is one of the many sponsors for this awesome event.  There are lots of ways to be eligible for some fantastic random drawn prizes which include commenting and playing along!  Check out Tracey's main post here to find out all of the ways you could have a chance to win!

AND be sure to read to the bottom of the post for a special sale and another chance to win!

Today I've used the Scallop Tag Fri-Dies along with this month's newly released Naughty-isms Stamp Set and Naughty Fri-Dies.

I created a Santa Suit for my tag by cutting two of the largest tags in the set.. one in red and one in white.  I used the red as my base and started with a thin strip of white glitter tape down the middle.  Next I cut the top and bottom off of the white tag and attached the pieces to the red tag and covered the ends of the glitter strip.  Then I cut a strip of black cardstock the width of the tag and added it for a belt and a simple square die cut from gold foiled paper for a belt buckle.  I added some acrylic dots as  buttons.

When I had the backdrop all done, I cut the Naughty or Nice sentiment once from black glitter paper and twice from black cardstock so I could stack them together.  Then I stamped the remaining part of the sentiment from the stamp set onto black cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I fussy cut it out so it would only take up a little space and moved it around on the tag until I settled on where it would go.  I popped it up and then I came across those sweet little Santa hat embellishments in my stash which fit perfectly on the loopty loop for the Nice part of the die cut!  Fun right??

AND!  Michele has a special stamp set for you!   It's called Most Wonderful.. and it is! Take a look at this beauty!

So pretty right??  And I created a quick tag using this special set because I couldn't help myself!  So I'm playing along with 25 Days of Christmas Tags too!

I was inspired for this one by Jane Taylor's beautiful tag from Day 8 here!  I knew this beautiful tag design would be perfect with this set!  That gorgeous blue evening sky background and the pretty snow mounds at the bottom!  I didn't have room for the snow mounds that Jane made, but I had already found a cool way to create them... so I made a second tag... but you'll have to wait until Thursday to see that one...lol!

So here are the details regarding this stamp set!

It will be available for purchase for $6.50 or you can get it free with a qualifying order of $50 placed November 20-26th!  Your order must total at least $50 after discounts and shipping.  No code is needed-it will automatically be added to your order when it ships!  On the 27th, the set will be offered in the shop for $7.99!  You can find this set here!  To top it all off... all Christmas and Hanukkah sets are on sale now and you can find some great deals on retiring products too!

I am so honored to have my post sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  We're giving away a $25 gift code to the CAS-ual Fridays Shop here at my blog!

I've created a couple projects using some wonderful CAS-ual Fridays products for today!

I started by cutting a shaped card using the Bubble Box Fri Dies.  I simply folded my paper in half and then with the die just barely off the folded edge, ran it through my Big Shot and... instant shaped card!  Then I used the Bubble Box dies to create my background layers.

Next I cut my cup using one of my very favorite cup dies from some Copic friendly paper, the Coffee Cup Fri Dies ... that wonderful heart handle!  I stamped part of the beautiful fox from the Foxy stamp set onto the cup with Memento Ink and colored it in with my Copics.  I added some liquid glass to the Coffee.  Then I stamped the beautiful flowers and foliage stamps from the Foxy set, colored and fussy cut them.

And finally this perfect sentiment from the Peace, Love and Coffee stamp set on black.  The banner was cut using a die from CDD.  I normally don't attach anything right away so that I can move things around on my base until I'm happy with what I'm seeing and then using various thicknesses of foam tape and other adhesives to attach it all.  I finished it off with some sequins from Paper Sweeties.

With this one, I'm playing along with a challenge over at Double Trouble which is to use Three Colors and a Stamped or Digital Image as well as Brown Sugar Challenge to use Creatures Great and Small!  They're playing together for a couple days yet and you should check them out!!

And my second card:

I cut the base rectangle striped layer with a die from Kat Scrappiness.  Another one of my favorite cup dies is the To Go Cup Fri Die from CAS-ual Fridays!  It's a fantastic size when you want a cup to be the Star of the Show and I cut it and the wrap out strategically from my papers so just what I wanted would show.  You may see I used the Bubble Box Die again to tuck a layer underneath the cup where I'd place my sentiment.

Then I cut a few of the pretty flowers from the Garden Fri Dies... the swirly top layer was cut from some previously watercolored paper and Goldrush cardstock for the bottom part of the flower.  I had some of the pretty leaves that I printed, foiled and watercolored from Graciellie Designs left over on my table and they were just right to tuck in and around my card pieces along with the beautiful flowers.

And then I built my sentiment using the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup Fri Dies set and that cute sentiment from the Coffee Talk Stamp Set.  Just a few sequins sprinkled around and it was done!  You really do need to check out the huge selection of Coffee and Tea items in the CAS-ual Fridays shop!

It was really hard to stop creating for today because I was so excited and I decided to make a couple more things for you today using items from a few more sponsors as well:

I've used the same papers for all of these projects because I've challenged myself to use up my pad of Prima Amber Moon papers... it's not hard to use it except for that little voice in my head that tells me when it's gone... it's gone!  And then I'll be fighting with myself to not order more...lol!  Here is a list of items I used for this one:

Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangles; Our Daily Bread Designs Layered Lacey Ovals, Cups & Mugs Dies, Violet Single Stamp, and leaves from the Pretty Posies Dies; Sentiment from Lil' Inker Designs Coffee Talk 2 Stamps and some beautiful leftover autumn leaves that I had cut and watercolored from an SVG file over at the Cutting Cafe.

And, I just had to get this idea out of my head and I have a special Blog Candy giveaway here too!  You may or may not know yet that CLC Super Sponsor Little Acres Creations is closing up shop.  There is a small inventory of some sets left for purchase and right now they are half off with the code Sale50!  Once they're gone... they're gone!  I needed to combine some of my favorite characters from Little Acres on this one:

SO... LOTS of giggling while I created this..lol!  I've used the Coffee Lovin' cow and sentiment from the Moo Brew Set, those cute little Piglets from the Pigments of Imagination (No Longer Available just since I created this!), the sweet mice from Cafe Dreamers, and that adorable Hound from the From The Pack set (Also No Longer Available).  I imagine that this is what my stamp sets do before I get up in the morning...lol!  Like Toy Story...

I've also used the Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangles, a window from Memory Box, and those awesome trees from the Craftin Desert Divas Fall Border Dies.  Also, for the cups I used the Mini Cups and Mugs dies from ODBD and that teeny Tiny Cup from Memory Box.

I'll be linking this one up to Double Trouble and Brown Sugar as well through Instagram... and hey Tracey!  There's even a Punny Sentiment for you!

And now... the Blog Candy!  I have for you one Moo Brew stamp set that I will send to one commentor from this post!  That's your second chance to win something here!

So cute, right??  And love the punny sentiments and that awesome Coffee Shop sign!  I sure am going to miss Little Acres... I was so lucky to get to know Chelle and Miko when I stumbled upon that Coffee House Mouse set on Facebook... because that's what it's about right... the relationships we create while we're doing this crazy thing!  So leave me some love and have a chance to win this set.  I'll use the same schedule as Amy for commenting and announcing the winner and if you want me to contact you please be sure to leave me your email address!

EDITED TO ADDThe winner of the Moo Brew stamp set here on my blog is Lucy Evans!  Congrats to Lucy and thanks so much to everyone for stopping by and leaving love!  All of the winners from the CLC prizes have been announced on the CLC blog as well as a document in the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's Facebook Group.  Congrats to all!

Joy Clair/Coffee Loving Cardmakers Collaboration and Blog Hop!

So excited to be participating in a fun Collaboration Hop with the Joy Clair Design Team and the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team!   Hop along with us and be sure to leave some love along the way and you could win a $25 gift card to the Joy Clair shop!

You should have arrived here from Laurel's blog!  If you get lost along the way, just head on over to the Main post on the Joy Clair Blog here!

Today I am having fun creating with the Coffee Lovers Clear Stamp Set and here's how I was inspired:

I started off decorating my planner pages for the last two weeks of May... because... well... you know what's going on then!

Mark your calendar!

I love the large to go cup image on this set!  I started by stamping it onto a variety of the printed papers from this Simple Stories pack.  Then I stamped some onto some cream cardstock.  I cut them all out and then I cut the sections apart on the printed paper and pieced and glued them together in various patterns onto the ones I stamped on cardstock.  I popped them up and placed them over the die cut flourishes on my page.  I added some diecut hearts and paper flowers and sequins and finally stamped some coffee beans and cut them out to use as embellishments too.  I added liquid glass and they are my favorite part!  That sentiment at the top is on the set and I thought it was perfect for this planner page.

I mimicked the same pattern on the other side but used this sentiment instead on a banner.  I also used the smaller to go cup to indicate the days the Coffee Truck will be at work :) .. Thursday is my favorite work day...lol!

For my second project, I decided a card was in order and this is what I came up with:

I started with some kraft paper and I was curious to see how some ink blending with distress oxides would look on kraft.. nothing earth shattering... but I love the tones it created.  Then I tried splattering some water over it and sopping it up... it was cool, and it left kind of a grayish color on the paper.  Next I took a coffee ring stencil and sponged some of the darker ink through the stencil and finally I splattered some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold and Tea colors.... then it was time to let it dry.

Have I mentioned I hate drying time?...lol!    After it was dry, I stamped the mug and steam in Versamark and heat embossed with some gold embossing powder.  I colored the cup using a gold Prisma colored pencil which really didn't do much for it.  Then I added some Liquid Glass to the cup and steam which really brought out a cool variety of colors.

I stamped the sentiment in black with my Misti and it also did nothing for me... it was the only black on the card and the whole design was too low on the card... that's when I decided to stamp the Latte part of the sentiment onto black and heat emboss it in gold.  I cut it out in a small rectangle to fit back in the same area and then dragged the edges in versamark and embossed those too.  I decided the base should be black with a 2nd matte of gold but it was still missing something.  I had too much room at the top

... so then I decided I needed a diecut sentiment in black... and this was the perfect one!  I added a little gold to the top of that too and finally this card came together for me and I love it!...So happy I stuck with it!

And last but not least ... well, you didn't think you were going to get out of here without me playing along with the Joy Clair Monthly Challenge for May did you??  Here's the inspiration photo:

And here's how I was inspired:

As always, I was inspired by the beautiful colors and light airy feeling of this photo.. not to mention the beautiful flowers!  I chose these Simple Stories and Lawn Fawn papers in complimentary colors.

These cups are so much fun to paper piece!  I stamped one on the plaid and two on white Copic Friendly paper and did some coloring and paper piecing.  I also stamped the wrap onto a recycled coffee wrap.  I diecut the two hearts on white copic friendly paper; colored them with one of the same pinks I used on the cup and stamped the coffee beans on them.  I filled in the center of the beans with a darker brown marker and then put liquid glass on them.

I used the wrap for the banner as well, along with this simple Enjoy sentiment from the Coffee Lovers stamp set.  I sprinkled a few flowers and sequins around and I was done!

Hope you'll play along with this one.. you don't have to use Joy Clair stamps, but you'll have extra chances to win if you do!  You have until May 30th to play along and you can find all of the rules on the challenge page here!

That's it for me!  So happy you stopped today!  Now, head on over to Robyn's Blog and see what she's created for you today!
