Short on time, I took a quick look through my old CTMH paper packs and was so excited when I came across the Sugar Rush papers and complements and they were perfect!

From the beautiful pink, mint and gold to that popsicle!

I used some fabulous Rubbernecker Stamps dies and I had this one done in less than 30 minutes!

That was quick wasn't it?  The card and the post!  Now, we have an announcement up on the Three Amigos Blog regarding the challenge so be sure to head on over there!

Well, of course my wings have an owl attached!  Are you new here??  This Owl from Unity...it's a Cuddlebug Owl.... there's a whole line of these adorable cuddlebug critters... and I love them all!!

I colored him with my Copics and fussy cut him out.

And the combo of that beautiful Hero Arts Woodgrain Cardstock along with the Simon Says Stamp Birch Tree Window!!  Perfect for a woodland feel for my fine feathered friend!  And those Cafe Au Lait sequins from Doodles Paper Playground... just the ticket!  Finally that sentiment from the Cuddlebug Owl set...just right!!

I'm playing along over at Unity's June Challenge in the Unity Show & Tell group on Facebook!  It's all about your Unity animals!  I'm also playing along with Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes this week!

Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge May 2019 - Food and Drink

Yay!  It's time for a new challenge over at Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges!  This time around it's all about Food and Drink!  Create a new project using some kind of food and/or drink and link it up for a chance to win a small prize!  It's also the beginning of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop so include some kind of Coffee, Tea or Cocoa and Spring/Summer you can link it up over there for a chance to win one of lots of prizes!  AND we're collaborating with Double Trouble this month and if you can link up to Three Amigos and The Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, you can link up there too!  That's a Three-fer!  Check out the details in our main Three Amigos post here!

Here's how I was inspired:

I've used a couple Whimsy stamp sets today along with a couple dies from Rubbernecker Stamps and some sequins from Doodles Paper Playground... all Super Sponsors for this hop!

I started with three of the images that I colored in a class over at one of my LSS, The Paper Collage with Nicolette from Stella Rue Studios!  Of course I bought the stamp sets we used so I added a couple more for this card.

From Rubbernecker I used the Nested Rectangle Small Stitch Dies for my first layer and the awesome Window w/Pierce Die for my shaker.

These guys are so cute!  They're from Whimsy's Espresso-ly Great stamp set!  I colored these two in the class with Nic... I didn't use them on her card though... it was fantastic, but it wasn't my design so I used them here!  And those sequins... awesome right?  They're from Doodles Paper Playground's Cafe Au Lait Blend!

And these cuties are from the Donut Birthdays stamp set.  Love them!  That cream squirting out of the one donut... right??  That's how I like my cream filled donuts!

Eeep!!  So cute... although if my donut was looking at me like that I don't know if I could eat it... well... maybe I could...

And there you have it!

SO!  Head on over and see what Donna and Susan have created for you today!  And the oh so talented Karen Leach has been so kind to have joined us this month as a guestie... please be sure to stop by her place and leave her some love too! Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #25 - Springtime!

Welcome to this month's Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!  In April we're celebrating the wonderful Spring season!  Here's how I was inspired:

I decided to create a little scene using mostly dies and then a pop of the most adorable House Mouse image you can imagine!  This is an image I colored in a class with Jennifer Dove... she made a beautiful card design to go along with it, but it's not my design so I decided to use the image on a different card... that's just how I am!  The image is called Crocus Nap and its from Stampendous

I must say I do miss the sight of Crocus in the early Spring... now that I live in Southwest Arizona I don't get to see them like I did in Western New York.  Aren't they SO adorable??  I fussy cut them out and inserted them into my background created with the grass from Crafting Desert Divas and the hill and fence from Whimsy Stamps.

I used all printed papers for a touch of playfulness... my sky is made of all kinds of sweet springtime words...

Eep!!  I can't stand it!!  Those little feets!!

I kept the sentiment simple with a sweet phrase die from Stamplorations and my favorite sun from C.C. Designs... I think both of these aren't available any more and I'm so glad I got them when I could!

And that's me!  Be sure to hop on over to Donna's and Susan's to see how they were inspired by Springtime!   And then head on over to the Three Amigos Challenge Blog to see who won from March's Rainbow Challenge and play along with us this month!  I can't wait to see what you create!

I'm also playing along with a couple other challenges!  You might say "a few"...lol!  Here it goes and please do check these out too!

There is a House Mouse and Friends Challenge and it's always Anything Goes!   Just create something using any House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie image and play along... I'll be honest... idk what a Happy Hopper or a Gruffie is... but I intend to find out!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Animal Antics!  I'm not sure if Napping is an antic, but I've sure never seen adorable mice sleeping inside of beautiful crocus.. crocuses.. croci?...lol!

Cupcake Inspirations is having a Woodland Critters challenge... and living near lots of woods in NY I can tell you mice are absolutely a woodland critter.  And they're partnering with Double Trouble!

Over at Double Trouble, the challenge is to incorporate something wood into your project... my fence is wood!

And at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday the twist is to use your Favorite Product or Technique and tell why.  I've used lots of landscape dies here... I love a good scene and landscape dies make it so easy to add layers.. and love me some layers!  Oh!  And did I mention foam tape... lots of different thicknesses of foam tape... def one of my faves!

Thanks SO much for stopping today and hope you enjoyed it!  See you again soon!

Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #24 - Rainbows!

Welcome to this month's Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!  This time around it's all about Rainbow!  Here's how I was inspired:

I've used some Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow papers along with this adorable Paper Smooches Unicorn that I colored up during a class over at Our Creative Escape not too long ago!  The card kit was gorgeous, but not my design so I decided to use her and one of the pieces from the kit in a different way!

That paper, right?  So pretty!  It was perfect behind the frame that was in the kit and the window was cut using the Frame 1 die.

I filled it with all kinds of clear sequins I had in my stash... some from Pretty Pink Posh.. some from CDD and some from my LSS!

I built my sweet sentiment using the You're Sweet sentiment from the Pineapple Crush stamp set and that beautiful Birthday Wishes die from Papertrey Ink.

I have lots of rainbow ideas in my head so I think you'll be seeing lots of inspiration from me this month!

I'm playing along over at Paper Smooches.. the March Challenge there this month is Birthdays!  I'm also playing along at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday where the theme is Frames and Festive Friday with a Birthday Theme!  And it's Anything Goes over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week and I'm playing along there too!  And Magic is still going on a little bit longer over at Double Trouble and Use Your Stuff!  And I've used the middle row for Tic Tac Toe, Glitter, Image and Sentiment!

Now be sure to hop on over to Donna's and Susan's Blogs and see what they've created for your inspiration today!  And don't forget to create something rainbow and join us over at Three Amigos!

Three Amigos Blog Hop February 2019 - Inspiration Photo!

Welcome to the February Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!  This month the challenge is based on this beautiful inspiration photo!  It's meant to inspire and not require... so what will inspire you?  Here's what I saw:

I was inspired by the colors... although I have very little pink in mine (except for that adorable tongue...lol!), the blues.. the golds...that orangey color..the gold sentiment...and the circular shape of it reminded me of the sun ray decoration and then the background paper reminded me of the pattern on the pillow.  I love these papers from the Pink and Main Be Brave 6x6 pad.

This is a birthday card for my dad.  He takes care of our dogs for us during the week so this cutie pie from The Cat's Pajamas Whee stamp set is perfect to deliver the message!  He's so excited!  And do you know how long I've wanted that Happy Birthday Circle Frame from MFT??  I finally found it at Doodlebugs and it was perfect for this card!

I thought it would be fun to have him jumping over a bunch of presents and the Presents dies from TCP were perfect!  The bows are beautiful and love all of the different shapes of them.  I used the two box dies that come in the set and then one additional square die from my stash to make one more size of box, cut them from some more of the patterned papers from the paper pad and then layered and stacked them.

I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes this week and the Outlawz Twisted Thursday which is always anything goes and this week's twist is Die Cuts!  I'm also playing along with Anything Goes over at Die Cuttin Divas... my friend Julie brought this one to my attention!  You should check them out!

That's it for me!  Now be sure to head on over to Susan and Donna's blogs to see how they were inspired by the photo!  And stop on over at the Three Amigos Blog to see who won January's prize and play along in February!

Thanks for stopping!

Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #22 - Shaped Cards!

It's time for a new Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!   This month it's all about Shaped Cards!  Create any card with a shape other than a Rectangle or Square!  Here's what I have for you today:

You may remember my recent post using the Ugly Sweater cutting file from The Cutting Cafe!  I had cut a couple extra cards at that time and decided to use the file for something other than Christmas sweaters.  And I had these Janes Doodles images all colored up to use during the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop and ran out of time (thanks job!) so I decided Fall Sweaters would be awesome!

I chose a brown argyle from the Lawn Fawn Knit Picky Fall paper pack.  I had my card bases cut already so I cut two of the sweater layers .. one from the print and one from brown cardstock.  (And of course this guys got some pumpkin spice coffee!  Are you new here??)

After they were all cut out, I layered on my pieces and swapped the cuffs, neck and waste bands out for a little contrast.  I used the Taylored Expressions Cable Knit embossing folder to emboss the plain cardstock for some sweater texture.  Love that folder!!  I've used it so much during the chilly season.  Then I chose the images and sentiments I would use from the Hello Fall Sentiment Set, Nuts About You, and Pumpkin Spice sets that I had previously colored, cut them out and layered them onto my sweaters.

Aren't those cutie pie squirrels so cuuute!?!  Speaking of pie... I've still got lots more images from these sets so you may be seeing some more soon...lol!

That's it for me today!  Be sure you head on over to Donna's and Susan's places to see what they've created for you today and then head on over to Three Amigos to play along!  We can't wait to see what you create!

Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges-Christmas/Winter/Holiday

Welcome to the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #21!  For December our challenge is Christmas/Winter/Holiday!  Here's how I was inpired:

So, surprise... there is a coffee/cocoa element to my card!..lol!  You'll find out why in just a bit if you don't already know.

But you should also know that we are collaborating again with the ladies over at Double Trouble Challenges!  Double Trouble is a fun challenge blog that likes to get together with other challenges and support each other.  You get chances to win a very thoughtful and cool prize and the more challenge elements you meet the more chances you get!  The Challenge over at Double Trouble during our collaboration is Embossing... any kind!  There is also a fun twist over there which is Let It Snow... add anything snow for an extra chance to win!  AND as if you didn't know, the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is going on right now and at Double Trouble, if you also play along over there by adding a Coffee, Cocoa, or Tea element to your creation, you not only can link up at Coffee Lovers, but you get an extra chance to win at Double Trouble!  I should have plenty of chances with my card because I've added it all!

I started by coloring this gorgeous and nostalgic image from the Snuggle Down stamp set from Power Poppy Stamps over Thanksgiving weekend.  I just LOVE how cozy it feels and it is perfect with that beautiful pack of retired CTMH paper, Jack.  If I could get my hands on another pack, I would... awesome awesome papers in that one.  I cut my rectangle layers using the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies from Kat Scrappiness and the banners were cut using the Fishtail Banners from MFT.  And the double fishtail is from the Flag Banner Dies from Craftin Desert Divas.. another one of my most used sets!  And then there are the awesome glittery snowflakes cut from some glitter paper from Lawn Fawn.  Take Note - Embossed Sentiment, Snowflakes, Coffee and Cocoa.  Right??  How easy was that?!

I hope you enjoyed your stop today and I hope you'll play along with us over at Three Amigos as well as check out what is going on over at Double Trouble and The Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  Be sure to hop on over to Donna and Susan's place and check out what they've created too!

Be sure to come back soon... I'll be sharing all things coffee, tea and cocoa all week long!
