Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall/Winter 2021 - Joyful Vibes

Welcome back!  I'm playing along over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop again with some new Graciellie Design and another great background stamp from Unity!  Here's how I was inspired:

I'm in love with the beautiful new Cup of Cheer digital stamp set!  It's full of yummy images and great sentiments!

I printed two of the cup and cookies images so I could cut out the cup and pop it up over the whole image.  I printed colored and cut out the images. The first one I cut out the entire image and for the second just the cup.  Then I colored the parts that would be showing from the first and the cup. Then I put foam tape on the back of the cup and popped it up on top of the image including the plate.

I embossed that beautiful stamp from Unity, Delectable Border Background onto a gel press print panel.  Then I added the completed image.  Finally I fussy cut a sentiment from the Christmas Cheer set and popped it up on top and added a few sequins and some Nuvo Drops to the Coffee snowflake.

That's me for today!  I'm linking this one up over at the Coffee Lovers Hop!  You should check it out!

Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2021-Give Thanks for Good Coffee

Welcome back!  It's Day 3 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  This is my 3rd card for the hop and I've used some great Unity Stamp Co and Graciellie Design images!  Here's how I was inspired:

I created the background with my Gel Press and one of the great border backgrounds from the Unity Stamps shop!  This one is called Hot Mess (psssst... it's on sale!)

The other images are digital stamps from the Graciellie Designs shop!  I used a few sets.  I used the heart cup from the Coffee or Cocoa set and in word layered a leaf from Obsessively Grateful and a sentiment from Fall In Coffee!  I made the opacity for the leaf light so the sentiment would stand out.  I printed a couple more leaves from the Obsessively Grateful set as well to use as embellishment.  Printed, colored and fussy cut and popped them up on the cool background and added a few sequins!

In addition to the Coffee Hop, I'm linking up over at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog!  They are playing along with the Coffee Lovers this week and their theme is Coffee, Tea or Cocoa also!  Head over there and check it out and see what the optional twist is!

And don't forget to link up over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop too!  Lots of chances at lots of great prizes!  Check out what Unity is offering up!

National Iced Tea Day With The Coffee Loving Cardmakers!

Hello!  And Happy National Iced Tea Day!  How will you celebrate??  Over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers we're celebrating with a hop!  We're joining Dana on the blog for lots of fun and inspiration!  You probably came here from Amanda's place, and this is probably your last stop, but if not, I have all of the links at the bottom of my post!

Here's how I was inspired:

I decided the Happiness Digital Stamp Set from Graciellie was perfect!  I brew a jar full of tea at a time and I love to add fruit... usually not watermelon but I'm not against it!  I pour myself a large cup in the morning after coffee and I just add water to it all day so I get a nice slow infusion.

This digital set came with that beautiful Magnolia background!  And one of my favorite things about digital stamps is that they are so easy to foil.  And since this is a month of foil fun for me, I decided I'd do just that!  I used some yummy Pink Melon Deco Foil which was perfect really!

So enjoy the day!  Wishing you lots of smiles and Happy Vibes!

Be sure to give everyone a visit for more inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

You should have come here after enjoying the makes over at Robyn's place!  Should you get lost, just head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog to find the complete list!

I got to play with the Bubbly Feels Digital Stamp Set and I paired it with a couple other things from the shop!  Here's how I was inspired:

I'm all about the rainbows again lately, so I couldn't help but get the Rainbow Vibes Digital Paper Pack!  I thought this cute dotted one from the pack was just right for some bubble tea!  And did you know that Graciellie also has some SVG Cutting file offerings??  I picked up the Coffee Lover's set (of course) and cut my rainbow bubble tea cup using one of the files in the set.

I also cut that cute tag and the Love Ya sentiment using the set.  I had printed a few of the sentiments from the Bubbly Feels Stamp Set and cut this one out with a banner die to add to my card... You give me all the Bubbly Feels... love it!!  Gracie has some of the very best sentiments!

I also printed a few of the cups from the Bubbly Feels Stamp Set so I colored this one up in my favorite Bubble Tea Flavor!

I will admit I tried Bubble Tea a couple years ago and did not like it!!  The tapioca balls were gummy and the texture bothered me mostly.  But recently Amy made me try a Matcha tea with almond milk and I still had a hard time getting past the tapioca balls, but I did enjoy it more than the first time.  And THEN I was in Sedona and stopped at a wonderful Tea shop called Trailhead Tea (definitely worth a stop if you are in Sedona) and they introduced me to Popping Pearls instead of the tapioca pearls and I was won over!  They are not chewy at all and they are smaller bubbles that pop in your mouth and they have sweet juice in them for a little extra flavor explosion... they're pretty awesome!

So!  This is a Matcha milk tea with blueberry popping pearls and half sugar.. my current fave!  I don't get them too often though because I'm sure there is still a lot of sugar in it.  I used another one of the beautiful papers from the digital paper pack and because of that adorable sentiment....

I added a unicorn cut from another great SVG file from Graciellie's shop, Unicorn Wishes and a few sequins and stars from a cool Unicorn embellishment pack from Trinity.

And then I was thinking... wouldn't it be cool if you could get a Rainbow Bubble Tea??  So I did this!

I used my copics to create rainbow swirls in my bubble tea... some more of that cute dotted paper for the background....

After I added the swirls I splattered a little bit of blending solution over the top to soften it up and blur the lines a bit.  And I added the Happy and Hearts from the Coffee Lovers SVG set and a few more sequins to finish it off.

So that's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your stop here!  Maybe I overdid the rainbow?... Nah!   I'm good!

Now be sure to head on over to my talented Teamie Erin's place! And should you get lost, you can head on back to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog for the Complete Hop list.

Crafty Elves' Countdown to Christmas-February 2019 Edition!

Welcome to this month's Crafty Elves post!  My friend Debra Davison (from Meticulosity) and I have promised to make a Christmas card a week for the year so that when the time comes, we'll have this part of our holiday all set!  I might even get my cards mailed out on a timely schedule... maybe... lol!  I especially love that it gives me the opportunity to use some of the many new products I purchased over the holidays that might otherwise be sitting and waiting for next November/December!

And stay tuned because at the end I'll be announcing the winner from the comments on our first Crafty Elves post in January!

So here we go:

So let me just say that as soon as I saw this Happy Holladays stamp set by Darcie's Heart & Home over at Butterfly Reflections Ink I didn't even have to think about throwing it into my cart.  I knew I had to have it!  So many of my favorite things... coffee, that sweet deer, plaid, and that handsome lumberjack hipster santa..

I mean... cuuute right??  It was fun to use that pretty plaid from an old CTMH paper pack along with dies from Paper Smooches, Craftin Desert Divas, Lawn Fawn, and Pretty Pink Posh!  And it was also fun to use some denim material to texturize Santa's jeans.. tee hee.. love him!!

I'm linking this one up over at Double Trouble Challenge... this week there's a tic tac toe board and I'm taking the middle row across... Glitter, An Image, and a Sentiment.  (The board is at the end of this post) That was easy enough!  And I've met the twist which is Magic... I'd say that Santa and Rudolph are pretty magical (not to mention Coffee... it's made from a magical bean that turns me into a human being every morning!).  And since I met the twist, I can also enter into the Use Your Stuff Challenge which is Magic this time around!  They're partnering with Double Trouble and you have about a week to enter both challenges!

Next up:

O M Garsh I LOVE these adorable critters from Elizabeth Craft Designs... they are from the Winter Animals stamp set...so adorable!  I love how they all coordinated their outfits to go ice skating...maybe their mom was planning a scrapbook page and already had the papers picked out.

Once Owl gets done skating he'll have some hot cocoa too... I'm sure of it!  I used some dies from CC Designs (the birch trees which I believe are no longer available), Kat Scrappiness and Craftin Desert Divas (which does have a nice die set with a birch tree here) to create my wintery scene... and lots of glitter paper... lots....

And then this Merry from the Merry Christmas word die from Pretty Pink Posh... I LOVE how it just happened to fit in the scallops perfectly!  This is one of my favorite word dies... you're gonna see it a lot this year!  And I almost forgot to mention that beautiful background snowflake paper from the Blizzard paper pad by Gina K.. LOVE!!

Did I mention I love this stamp set!  Wish I'd remembered that I did purchase the dies before I cut these out by hand...lol!

Oh... and if you are hoping you see this one in your mailbox next December... it's already spoken for.  You know who you are.... lol!

I'm playing along with Festive Fridays over at the Outlawz Challenges on Ning... the themes are Birthday, Get Well, Anniversary/Wedding, Christmas, and Anything Goes, so I'd say with Christmas, I'm good...lol!  I'm also playing along over at Mod Squad Challenges to use a Clear or Rubber Brand Name Stamped Image... I've used Elizabeth Crafts stamps on this one!

The next one is using some digital items from Graciellie Designs... she has the most beautiful digital sets ...

I started this one with a beautiful paper from the Rustic Winter Wishes digital paper set... that plaid... I wasn't sure if I'd foil it or not and decided not... then I thought I'd add some snowflakes with a stencil from Newton's Nook and some Deco foil transfer gel and foil those... so I added the gel and as it was drying I realized that wasn't going to work because the snowflakes would take the foil but so would the paper since i printed it on my laser!  So instead I added some gold embossing powder over the gel and heated it.  It's so much fun to watch it heat because it bubbles and has so much movement!  Crisis averted!

I printed a bunch of images from a few sets from Graciellie including Coffee or Cocoa, Christmas Cheer, and Winter Wishes and colored them with my Copics and added a little detail with my Prismacolor pencils.  I added a little sparkle using Liquid Pixie Dust from Ink On 3... love this stuff!!  I added it to the marshmallows and the poinsettia...just dropped a little into a container... just a tiny bit... and applied it with a paint brush.

I foiled the spoon and the sentiment... love that Gold Sequin foil from Gina K!!

I used one of my fave layering dies from Waffle Flower Stamps on this one!

I printed lots of images from these sets and can't wait to use them!

And last for this month but definitely not least:

I've had these images from Polka Dot Orchard printed and hadn't had a chance to use them yet so I was excited to use them this month!  That sweet bear!  There is something about his snout that reminds me of my dog... lol!  He's from the Winter Bear digital stamp set.

I colored up Winter Bear ... the furry parts first and then used some material from an old wash cloth and some Copic Blending Solution to texturize it.  And I love that the set comes with that adorable background already made up!  I just printed it; die cut it, and ran it through my Minc with some red sparkly foil from Gina K!  And that nose was perfect for some liquid glass... I just wanna boop it!

When I print my sentiments I'm sure to leave room around them so I can use dies to cut them out... and then I foiled this one with some turquoise foil... perfect with the color scheme!  I love that the Gina K Designs foils come in a flat pack so I don't have to deal so much with the curling... it's tricky enough as it is!!

I used dies from Kat Scrappiness, Stamplorations and Craftin Desert Divas on this one.

He's such a cutie!!  Also printed out some more images from Polka Dot Orchard so I'm sure you'll be seeing those in a coming month's post as well.

Hope you enjoyed your visit today!  And now for the winner from the January post!  Thanks so much to everyone for stopping by and leaving me some love!  The winner of some Happy Mail from me is:

Vannessa Osbourn!

25 Days of Christmas Tags Inspiration - Tenia Nelson

If you've never heard of the awesome annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags that goes on over at Tracey McNeely's In My Creative Opinion Blog then you are gonna thank me!  It's a month long fountain of inspiration with tons of sponsors and tons of designers sharing some fabulous creations with lots of chances to win prizes!

I was inspired for this one by Tenia Nelson's beautiful tag for Day 3... the beautiful non-traditional colors (although mine are different, they are nontraditional), the awesome tree ring background (although mine is hard to see...lol), and the gold on black sentiment all caught my attention.

I started by coloring up this beautiful digital image from the Christmas Cheer set from Graciellie Design.  It is so much fun to color Gracie's images.  They have enough detail to make them beautiful even with a quick color but enough space to make them your own when you wish to.  I cut it out and added a little glitter and some liquid glass.

I cut the largest Scallop Tag from Cas-ual Fridays and ink blended it with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac distress inks.  Next I used the Tree Rings stencil from Newton's Nook to apply some Decofoil Transfer Gel and set it aside to dry.  Once it was dry, I ran it through my Minc machine with some gorgeous Gina K Designs Gold Sequins foil (my fave!).  I popped up my image and added it to the tag.

Then instead of stamping and embossing my sentiment, I decided to use the Merry word die from the CAS-ual Fridays Merry Christmas Fri-Dies and cut it from gold glitter paper and added it to a black banner cut with a CDD Banner Die.  I didn't want to cover up that gorgeous digi so I attached the Merry at an angle and tucked the banner underneath the image.  A few gold sequins and some pretty purple ribbon.

Thanks for stopping!  You should definitely check out this challenge over at the In My Creative Opinion Blog!  And please do check out Tenia's beautiful creation here!  Then hop around and get inspired and maybe even play along!

And I'm also playing along with the Monday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp which is Create Your Own Background!  That I did!  Even if it is just peeking out here and there...lol!
